List 2 Weird Things about yourself

I guess I shall start.

1. I shower with two wash cloths. 1 for face and 1 for body.

2. I travel with my own wash cloths. I just wouldn't feel right washing up in a hotel with towels that over 100's of people use. I just can't do it. I don't use towels or wash cloths in other peoples homes eiether. yup..weird to many, but normal to me. LOL

1. I have to shovel the snow before anyone walks/drives on it. That way the drive and walk ways are completely clear. I wake up early when the news predicts snow in the a.m. so that I can shovel b4 I leave. I get annoyed when it snows during the day b/c I know the kids will walk on it after school. If it snows while I'm at work, I'll park on the street so that I don't pack it down in the driveway.

2. I don't like my food to touch on the plate. Yes, I know it's all going to the same place. I don't care. I love when I go to a picnic and there are partitioned plates, lol.

This may a little too gross for some people....warning!

1) I love when my skin or FI's skin is peeling from a sunburn. I could spend hours peeling away!

2) I also love squeezing pimples. I can't wait for the puss to come out and if it's a black head, it's like Christmas for me!

Gross, I know!

1. When I travel/sleep somewhere other than my own bed, I take my pillow with me. I refuse to sleep on a pillow that someone else may have drooled all over. Ick. The only exception I ever made was at the Bellagio...but even then, I took my own pillowcase!

2. I can only cross one eye at a time...i.e. one eye looking straight forward and the other pointing at my nose. It's pretty freaky looking. I used to tortue my brother by doing it. LOL!

1) I love to pluck my eyebrows. I have been doing it since junior high and have gone so far that at one point I had a thin line of about 10 hairs per eyebrow. My mom threatened me that if I did not stop plucking, she would shave those 20 hairs off in the middle of the night. I never plucked so much again. I do have to stop myself every now and then. I could look into that magnifying (evil) mirror forever...yuck.

2) This is gross...you may not want to continue to read: I like to pick. I get the boogers out of my dog's eyes, and when we play at the park she gets grass in her eyes- I like to pull on the goop so it gets the grass out. I like to pop pimples and... OK that's enough. LOL.

He loves that I shovel snow. I think he stays later at work some days so that I beat him home, lol. I don't mind though b/c I don't like his shoveling job.

Brandi, my love, if you ever stay at my house, you will have to bring your own pillow. There are no extras and you sure aren't using mine. LOL! That's my other weird thing...NO ONE can use my pillow. I have even woken Brian up and made him get off my pillow.

OMG. I think I could list about 200 things -- I am so anal about my ways that I have all these crazy quirks.

1. I HAVE to keep my work email inbox below 20 emails. I am a huge organizer so I save emails to all these crazy folders, but if my inbox gets too full, I get overwhelmed. My inbox basically serves as a to-do list and when I have completed it, I delete the email.

2. The dishwasher has a certain way it should be loaded. And FI does not load it correctly. However, I don't want to discourage him from cleaning up after himself so I still make him clean up after dinner. And then later, I secretly go and fix the dishes so they are in there correctly and it also maximizes the space.

P.S. I am on board with the picking of dry skin, pimples, scabs, etc. Its so bad. When I get bored, I also search for split ends and break them off.

1. I don't wash my hair everday. Not to be confused with showering though..That's everyday. If I washed my hair everday it would become a frizzy mess. I also don't brush my hair everyday either..Not sure if this is weird or not

2. I am also a plucker when it comes to eye brows. I had thick bushy ones for most of my life till I discovered tweezers. There's been a few times when I've gone a little extreme and made them too thin.

That is so funny; ALL of my girlfriends and I say the same thing. Popping zits is so satisfying!! Most men (including FI) can't believe it!

1. I have this problem with animal fat. If I'm the one trimming the chicken/beef whathaveyou I am so anal about getting all of the fat off. It takes me twice as long as a normal person to clean a piece of meat.

2. I am a big email organizer too!! If only the rest of my life were that organized. 20 emails or less in the inbox!

To all you zit poppers...GROSS! That is so disgusting. One of my good friends had a zit on her back and she wanted me to pop it--no lie, I almost threw up on her. I told her that just because we were BFF's, didn't mean it was also my duty to pop her zits!

Onto my weird things:

1. I HATE it when someone touches my neck. Even if they are going in to tickle me or if FI is just rubbing my neck. Get away. I feel as though someone might choke me!

2. Whenever I'm getting in my car by myself, I always check the backseat. Especially if it's dark out. I've seen too many of those LMN movies where some guy is hiding in the backseat and jumps out to strangle a woman. It's weird, I know.

Good post Brandi!

1. I am weirdly anal about how I wash my clothes. Sheets and towels, whatever. But I am really paranoid about shrinking my clothes, so I air dry them on a clothes rack rather than in the dryer. But if you move them right from the washer to the clothes rack, they'll be too wrinkled. So I dry them in the dryer for about 5 minutes, then shake them out and hang them up. And yes, it takes FOREVER and FI always complains about how the drying rack takes up too much space in my tiny bedroom, but for me it's a necessity. I will probably never trust FI to do it correctly.

2. I am really picky about having the bed is made. If the sheets and blankets aren't nicely smoothed out and tucked in, I just can't get into bed! Even if it's after midnight and I'm exhausted, I will take the time to make up the bed before I get in it.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Totally agree Katie. I am the same way. FI doesn't mind the skin peeling but can't stand when I pop pimples. Poor baby thinks it hurts. I used to pick at scabs when I was younger (like five or six) just to watch them bleed but I have too many scars to do that now! hahah

Other than my agreeance on picking - two things about me:

- I am terrified of thunderstorms, even as an adult, and refuse to stay home alone in them. I will drive to a friend's house or my mom's or a store to avoid being the only adult.

- I teach women's self defense classes and have studied/taught martial arts for the past 16 years.

1) I have to take my own pillow when we travel

2) I'm obsessed with locking doors. I lock the car doors as soon as we get in.
I also have to check the doors at night before going sleep, even if I just locked them. After laying down, I have to get up and check the doors. Austin used to leave our front door unlocked. I am now paranoid.
