Molly's Trolleys NOT Closing!

I just recieved an email from Molly's Trolleys that I thought I would pass along to the Pgh brides - here is the copy/paste:

A few months ago, you inquired about renting a Molly Trolley for your 2011 event.   At that time, Molly’s Trolleys Pittsburgh was closing- and that is why we were not taking 2011 reservations.   We are happy to announce that Molly’s Trolleys Pittsburgh has been purchased by Just Ducky – and is staying in Pittsburgh .   Which means- We are now booking 2011 events!!!    If you are still interested in a trolley for your 2011 wedding, please email us back the date and a brief timeline of your event.   (Just a sketch is all we need- Including Pickup time, Pickup location, wedding ceremony location and reception location, Etc.)   (Or call me at the Office – 412-281-2085 to chat!)   Once we receive your information- we will email you back a rate sheet, references, pictures as well as a sketch of the costs.   We are offering 2010 rates until Jan 5th- so book your date now!   Warmest Regards,  Molly’s Trolleys Pittsburgh   Email: weddings@mollystrolleyspittsburgh.com Office Ph:  412-281-2085

    Oh this is AWESOME! I really wanted to rent one for our rehearsal, so I was totally bummed when I heard they were closing.

    G, do you happen to know what their rates are?

    Sorry I dont! When I originally emailed I guess they already knew they were closing so they told me they were already booked for my date... so I let it go. I have since booked a trolley through Lenzner but I'm thinking of emailing her to get the rates to see if it's cheaper...

    Let me know if you find anything out and I'll do the same!

    hmmm im going to look into this too.... Transportation is on DF's list of to-do's but he's so swamped with work.. i might as well pick it up..

    We had them for three hours-2 hours of photos ops around the city and then part of your package is time to and from their garage in the strip, so that was the other hour. I believe for the three hours it was in the $750-$850 price range although we booked back in September 2009. I think 3 hours was the minimum time package they offered. They were fantastic so hopefully Just Ducky does as great of a job!

    GMC -- I know you told me Lenzner's Trolley pricing at some point, but can you tell/PM me that info again?

    We're using Lezner's trolley because we were also told that Molly's Trolley's was not taking reservations for 2011. At this point, I've already given Lezner's a deposit, but I actually think that Molly's are better looking. I'm not sure of the exact prices, but I believe that Molly's charged a higher hourly rate than Lezner, but because they only required a 3-hr minimum (Lezner was a 4 hour minimum) they ended up being cheaper. If you wanted more than 3 hours, then you may consider Lezner. Then again, I don't know if the price is different now that they have different ownership.
