8. What is your dream job?
Not sure... I like what I do now, I like working with students, but eventually, I would like to get back into the public school system as a guidance counselor and would probably prefer an elementary school.
9. How did you and your fiance' meet?
Online!! We met through Jdate
10. When did you get engaged, and how did he do it??
We got engaged on April 14, 2010, which was our two year anniversary. We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and when we came home, our apartment was totally dark. When I opened the door, there was a table filled with candles and a bouquet of flowers. When I turned around to ask him what was going on, he was on his knee. I don't really remember anything past that

Having our ceremony and reception at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club in Hollywood.

Tiffany blue (which is really more of a green) and brown, with accents of ivory and silver
14. Where are you honeymooning?
Saint Lucia! I can not wait! We're staying for 3 nights at Ladera and 4 nights at Sandals. Ladera only has 3 walls, and the "fourth wall" is just open air that overlooks the ocean. It looks ah-ma-zing
15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
Hmmm... I really like Rose from Dream Makers and I LOVE Anna for Eleganza Strings
16. Biggest wedding splurge?
Our whole wedding! We're paying for most of it ourselves and are about 10k more than we thought we'd spend. We did splurge on bridal party gifts though... We got all the boys Jordan sneakers to wear during the wedding and, to keep things kinda even, we got the girls gold and pearl earrings.
17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
Ummm... Honestly... We're doing pretty much everything we wanted to do. If I had to change one thing though, it would probably be our photo booth. Our photographer, Travis Harris, is setting up a photo booth and guests will take pictures and then we'll get a cd of pics, but nothing actually prints out for them. When we booked it, it was because I thought we were getting a great price (which we were), BUT I didn't realize how many groupons and other deals there would be for actual photo booths that print out a strip of pictures. So, if I had to change something, it would probably be to get a real photo booth.
18. Another Knottie whose wedding you'd like to attend?
Now that Heather is all excited about the changes she's made to her wedding, that would be fun to attend. Of course, Faith's in Orlando will probably be a blast, also!
19. Favorite book?
Too many to choose... I am not done with the Girl with the Dragon tattoo trilogy, but I'm in the middle of the third and I've really loved those books. I'm a huge Twi-hard, and I love Jodi Piccoult. My favorite of her books is Perfect Match. Loved Water for Elephants and The Time Traveler's Wife. Excited to start reading the Hunger Games.20. Favorite movie?
Totally depends on my mood! Elf and Zoolander for comedies; Shawshank Redemption, Gone Baby Gone, and Life as a House for dramas, and Clueless as my guilty pleasure!
21. Favorite tv show?
I'm all about cooking show competitions, especially Chopped. I also love Modern Family, Happy Endings, Parks and Rec, and any real world/road rules Challenge. If I catch The Nanny, Full House, or Saved by the Bell on a weekend, I'm also a very happy camper.
22. Favorite wedding dress designer?
I'll go with mine, Essence of Australia.
23. Any advice you can give to other Knotties whose big day is coming up?
Enjoy your planning process!!! Try not stress over little things, and REALLY try not to stress over people who are not responding/reacting to your wedding the way that you wish they were. Some of your friends and family will surprise you, hopefully in a good way, sometimes in a bad way, try not to take it personally. Weddings bring out wonderful, giving sides of people, but they bring out negative and jealous sides of others. Never lose sight of the fact that the ONLY thing that matters is the fact that you and FI will be man and wife when all is said and done.
24. Is there anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
We were living in NY when we got engaged and booked our venue. We expected to still be living in NY for our wedding, and didn't care too much about the city it was in because it was a DW for us regardless. Sometimes I wish we had looked places further north, like Boca or Boynton, because I think I would have preferred Palm Beach County.
25. Tell us your Knottie name and how you came up with it
It is my sorority (Phi Sig) and my sorority nickname (Fly). It's been my e-mail address since I was a freshman in college, in 2000. Man, am I old...
26. Tell us about yourself!
Not a ton left to tell! I'm pretty laid back and easy going, I like to go out and have a good time, and I am always in a pair of jeans. I love watching YouTube videos of eye makeup application, and I am an expert in Saved by the Bell trivia. I love drinking martinis and trying fancy drinks, I'm a klutz, and am slightly addicted to cupcakes.
