Eco-Friendly Favors/CP's for a shower?

Good Morning ALL!

I haven't really posted in forever and I hope everyone is doing fantastic.

I am planning a bridal shower. The bride would like to take the "green" route on as many things as possible. The shower will be outdoors in the summer so I would like to stay away from anything edible or that could go bad.

What are some eco-friendly ideas for the favors and CP's? Also, can I find any of these locally for a reasonable price?

    Hi Rosie! :) Hope you are well!

    What about like a little pot with a packed of maybe herb seeds, they are easy to grow no matter what type of place you live.  I was googling a little and nothings jumping out at the moment.

    this is just something that popped up from the knot when I googled..

    Herb Garden

    Create your very own herb garden for guests to take home. On a table, set up a display of various herbs purchased from a local nursery (basil, mint, and more). Attach a signature recipe card to each herb -- pesto for the basil plant; mojitos for the mint. Alternate idea: garden gloves and a nice hand cream.

    My personal fave: Birdseed favor

    Go to etsy.com and search for "bird seed favor" - 


    and they also have ones that are in the shape of letters.

    Maybe honey from a local farm. Or something that requires no packaging, or reusable packaging (cookies in a reusable container or wrapped in flower seed paper that you can plant).

    Or skip favors entirely. Being "green" is also about just using less stuff entirely, not necessarily using lots of green stuff.
