Silk flowers??

Does anyone know where I would be able to find someone who specialized in silk flower arrangments in the Akron/Stow/Cuyahoga Falls area.. ? I know there are some great sites online but I'm just not a huge fan of ordering THIS online. Any help would be wonderful!!

hmmm...i'm not sure of any professionals, so i wont be of any help there, but are you creative? cause you could save yourself a lot of money by maybe making them yourself? i had never tried it before, but i was able to make my bridesmaid's bouquets and my own bouquet out of silk flowers and it has saved me hundreds! i plan on doing the bouts and corsages next :)

    here are my bridesmaid's bouquets:

and here is my wedding bouquet:

i brought it with me when i tried on my dress again lol...wanted to make sure it all looked good together! anyways, it was kinda fun to make them, and i liked how it saved us some money :) maybe you could give it a shot! ;)

    Hey!

I think that my day of coordinator Angela can help you! I know that she did all of the silk flowers for her own wedding and has provided silk flower services for brides. Here is her website: http://aweddingwish.wordpress.com/

I337Jacqui....those look great! Where did you get the flowers to make those? I am looking to make my own flowers too, but I haven't really found any in craft stores that look that good....thanks!

    thanks!!! :D

the orchids i got from pat catans, the cherry blossoms i got at flower factory (which are actually "peach blossoms" because their "cherry blossoms" were a hideously fake hot pink with lime green stems lol...) and the gerbera dasies i got from afloral.com for 49 cents each:

BUT! they did NOT look like the picture when they arrived. that whiteish circle around the very middle was like all up in the middle too, so the centers were not perfect looking like that picture. so, i just took a brown sharpie to the middles of each one (took a while, but not too long) and made the centers dark and into a more even circle. so, know that they are cheap in price, but needed a little bit of alteration lol...

the orchids and cherry blossoms were perfect though :) but, i could see those ones in person first haha
