It's common in our family to still give money and gifts for birthdays and I was fortunate enough to have enough to do a mini makeover to our master bedroom. Yesterday, FI and I spent 7 hours shopping around for new bedding and curtains and we actually had so much fun picking it all out together. We've been dying for curtains because the sun has been waking us up at 7am every day and we love to sleep in on the weekends. I just didn't want to get anything until we had the bedding so that it could all match and we just haven't had the extra money to splurge on all of that right now. So, I knew exactly what I wanted to spend all of my birthday money on as soon as I got it!! Check out the sad before and the (I think) amazing after!
