cost of videographer?

Hello Ladies-
I am trying to figure out if a videographer can fit into my budget. I have gotten a couple of quotes which seem pretty high to me. How much does a videographer usually cost? Thanks!!

I think we are paying about $1000. We ended up going to videoccasions and they were really expensive but the way the economy is now, they all just want your business. Don't go by the prices on websites, you can ALWAYS talk them down! We did that with a few of our vendors

It really depends on the company. I know I'm personally paying $1100

I'm paying $1500- which is much higher than the rest of you, but I really loved their work. I requested demos from about 5 videographers, and I could definitely see the difference. I know that more money doesn't mean better quality... but sometimes you get what you pay for.....

With that being said- I think around $1K is typical!
