I want to give bars of homemade soap as my favor. Does anyone know of places  in the Sacramento area where I can find some ? I've found a lot of vendors online, but I'd like to get in the store and smell the product before I give it away.

    Etsy.com has a local items search feature. You can use that to find some people in the area. Maybe you can ask if you can meet them in person to sample their items first?

    You might want to go to Second Saturday as well and see if there are any vendors there. I go to the Farmer's Markets often, but I haven't seen any soap thus far.
