Hello! I saw an idea on the wedding obsession blog that I love; a couple had a dessert bar with hostess/little debbie type treats like twinkies, snoballs, ding dongs, etc. I think it's a great idea and really easy. We are planning on having cupcakes instead of cake. Does this sound like too much "cakey" stuff?

I think it would look kind of weird to display a bunch of store bought mass produced things like twinkies and snoballs next to your wedding cupcakes. If you want to have other things available besides cupcakes, why not pie, cheesecake, cookies, etc? I just don't care for the idea of a bunch of packaged Little Debbie sweets on display with the wedding cake.
We are going to serve chocolate covered strawberries after dinner, but have our main dessert be our actual wedding cake.
