Junior BM Dresses....still

If any of you have seen my posts about this before, It has been a serious battle to get Junior BM dresses ordered.  Wedding is in 86 days and dresses are STILL not ordered.  I sent an email to FMIL, FSIL and FBIL last night with links to 6 dresses. I told them what color I want, and that we will pay for the dresses over $100- So they pay $100, we'll pay the rest.  Also offered to order them and let them pay us back later, we juts need to know what size.
I gave them a deadline and told them I want the dresses ordered this week.  Now here's another sticky situation-- They've taken so long to do anytihng with dresses that now there is a $30 or $40 Rush Fee for them.  What should I do? Pay for the dress over $100 and still make them pay the rush fee? Or suck it up and pay the fees too? Thoughts?

Re: Junior BM Dresses....still

  • Just to clarify-- I sent 6 dresses and told them to pick any one from the six. They are all perfect, I just want them to pick one and tell us what size.

  • I would at this point, maybe just ask what size or sizes are needed and just order them, and let them pay you back. That way you know they are ordered and you wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

  • Oh yeah I asked that a month ago.... they still haven't measured the girls..... grrrr

  • Well then at this point, if they order the dresses they will be in the wedding, if not they won't. There really isn't much else you can do about it. If the parents don't take the responsibility that they need to to get this done then sadly the JR BM is the one that misses out on this.

  • Yep, not a whole lot you can do about it if you don't have the sizes!! and personally, I would NOT cover the rush charge.  If other people can't handle clear deadlines, it's certainly not your responsibility to pay the rush shipping.  I agree with jbrook..... it might just mean that they aren't in your wedding.  Shouldn't be a show stopper!
