Tuxes please help

Hi Ladies,
back Story - (Skip down for my actual question)
While I already have a place booked for our tuxes, I have been less than thrilled with their customer service and prices.  When I originally went in not knowing much of anything they only showed me the high end tux.  I did not know until it was all booked and I was in a hurry to leave that they would be $170 per person (this included a $25 off coupon too)  WAY TOO MUCH!  I went in to try and get them cheaper they guy was not very helpful although I did get them down to $92 per person which was great.  THEN I got a call today saying that he had quoted me the wrong price and that since the tux was so cheap he could not honor my $25 off coupons anymore and that now they are going to be $117.  Not a huge deal but it makes me so angry that they just changed it.  I havnt called yet to see if I have a leg to stand on in fighting the increase but I will.

So...
where did you get your tuxes?  How much were they?  DId the groom get his free?  Would you recommend them?

Honestly while the customer service sounds fishy, that price (117 per tux) is pretty darn close to what you'd get most other places. Mine are about 125 per tux with Savvi and that was a pretty deep discount. I'd stick w/ your current place.

Ditto musu... $125 is generally considered a 'really good deal' around here, with rental prices often closer to $200. If you want to wash your hands of them due to what you think may be fishy business practices, that's understandable... but just know you probably won't find anything for much cheaper.

Our are through Mens Warehouse and are 128.00/person. If you can get it for 117.00 I would stick it out and keep them.

Check with Heartstrings bridal in Hopkins-they usually run a tux sale along side their chair cover sale in September.  Ours were $99/ea for ANY tux and we got the groom's for free because at least 5 people rented from them.  Great customer service!  The tuxes are Savvi, but since it's a small independent store, they get their tuxes direct from the Savvi warehouse, not another Savvi store.

I get that it is still a good deal, it was more the principle of the matter that bugs me...

thanks for the suggestion of Heartstrings.  I will check that out!

We got ours through Men's Warehouse. They were $165 each (with shoes, shirts, pants, jackets, cuff links, vests and ties.) They also give the groom's tux rental for free OR a free suit. FI went for the suit since he needed a new black one anyway. The price does vary based on the style you choose. We love the look we're getting and thought that was a pretty good deal.

I would definitely recommend MW. Especially if you have any groomsmen coming from out of town. We had groomsmen coming from four different states and they were all able to get measured at MW locations near them and the tuxes will all be sent to my local one.
