I'm in LOVE with this dress but it is waaay over budget at $1052. I don't expect anybody to do my shopping for me, but I was curious if anybody knew of a dress similar to this one for a cheaper price. I've been looking on sooo many sites but can't find much.

Also, I've found so many strapless dresses I love but sleeves are a must for me. Have/will any of you be attaching sleeves to your gowns? Are you making them yourselves? Are there limits to what you're doing? Do you know of any places/sites/etc... that would be helpful to me? Thanks so much!!

Mori Lee makes several gowns with similar silhouettes and detailing, and is budget-friendly.

There are a lot of places you can get cap-sleeves to add to these gowns. The designer may have some to offer, or you can also get them from David's Bridal and some other places.

Not exactly the same but somewhat similar, and at the price you could spend the extra to add the cap sleeves. Although David's won't alter the appearance of any dress so you would have to take it to an independent seamstress.

You could also try getting a quote for that dress from Netbride.com, if you haven't already. I got my dress through them and got the exact same designer gown for $700 less than at the bridal shop.

What is your budget?

There are some AMAZING vendors on Etsy that make beautiful dresses for around $700. While at first apprehensive about hiring a stranger in a different city to custom make a dress, my friend who ordered from this lady LOVED the result! She hasn't gotten married yet, so I don't have pictures of her dress, but here's an example of some of the work on Etsy (this is the same vendor who did my friend's dress and who I plan to hire someday):
