I'm okay though, if it wasn't for him being so easy to work with who knows if we'd have chosen Mix since comfort with the vendor was very important too, so I'm glad he convinced us they could do it and then his replacement was able to pull it off.

Great reviews! Your Antigua section was hilarious! I loved your pictures, esp your adventure to Shirley Heights! yes, cows, horses, and goats are parts of my daily life, LOL.

I am so sorry about your experience at the airport - it's certainly not the first time I've heard that and is something that needs to be properly addressed (believe it or not I think the immigration officers even went through "training" because of complaints but I guess that didn't work out too well!). But I am glad you ran into other nice people on the island and generally enjoyed your time here!

Ditto comments about your wife - how beautiful - you guys make a beautiful couple! Congrats again!

lol I had so much fun driving around; I'm trying to take pictures of things we encountered while driving, she's taking video of me driving because of how crazy that was. I need to get some of that off her camera and post it.

LOL - he actually didn't find out until about 2 weeks before he left apparently. He had to up and move his family down there, too! Regardless, I'm so glad it went well for you guys. It just looked amazing.

That's too bad; I'm sure he could have found another job in Vegas, he was very good, but probably have to think about long term, retirement, etc.

I didn't realize he had a family; when we were still in the looking around phase I think he was dating the person we were working with at Bellagio so they were basically competing against each other for us to sign. :-)

Best thing about it is she was really awesome too; she was in the group events dept. at Bellagio. We went back to Bellagio once more to see things again and told her we were looking at one other place at MB, she says "Mix?" I said yep, she asked if we were working with Steve, I said yes and then she told me they were dating lol. We went back to Mix that day and told him she said hi; it was pretty funny, it caught him off guard. We could not have gone wrong with either place, she was the best person we had worked with at all the places we considered but unfortunately Bellagio doesn't have a crazy restaurant 64 stories up so that part was hard to beat.

Haha!

My whole adult life (about 10 years), I imagined myself getting married at the Bellagio. It will always be one of my favorite places in Vegas.
