Least Favorite Chore

So I'm cleaning house right now and am trying to get done with my least favorite chore first (which obviously isn't getting done since I took a TK break) which is laundry. I can wash and dry all day, but I absolutely HATE putting it away. I would gladly scrub the bathtub over putting away my laundry. So what chore do you like doing the least?? Am I the only laundry weirdo? LOL

Doing the dishes is my least favorite chore. I absolutely despise cleaning dishes. It grosses me out.

Putting laundry away. BF and I have split the laundry chore so that I actually do the laundry and he puts it away, because I despise it and will just let it sit in the basket until I've used it all.

On the same note, I hate putting dishes away, though with a lot less malice.

I hate cleaning the bath tub with the passion of a thousand burning suns.

There's nothing else I really mind. I find cleaning somewhat meditative, and I love the feeling of accomplishment I get afterwards.

The bathtub, however... something about bending over for a long period of time, and the fact that you always end up covered in water/cleaning products.

I despise it.

Vacuuming. Is there 2 c's, 2 u's, 1 u, 1c? I can never remember, but that doesn't change the fact that I HATE doing it. My carpet doesn't show dirt to begin with, so it's impossible to see the nice, clean results. It's the only chore I avoid at all costs. Closely followed by sweeping the floor. I think I just don't like floors.

I HATE dishes so freaking much. I think it stems from having had to wash dishes bent over the sink that was too low when I worked at Subway in college. . . it hurt my back and now I just hate dishes with every inch of me.

Laundry is my favorite

EDIT: Forgot to mention that BF and I don't have a dishwasher, which means alllll hand washing. UGH.

Ugh, the dishes!I don't really like to do them, but I've pretty much taken them on full time. Why? After years of boyfriend "accidentally" breaking my favorite dishes, I finally got fed up and started washing them all myself. He also has the tendency to shove an item in a random place if he doesn't know where it belongs. So after washing them, I also get to put them away.

(He's an evil genius.)

ETA: For the record, I hate the bathtub more.

I love vacuuming! It's my favorite. When I was a kid my grandma loved it when I came to visit because I would want to use her DirtDevil and essentially clean her house. It's just so much fun! And I love the smell vacuums make, especially around Christmas time when they suck up needles.

And TK? I caught you trying to make my post make no sense by taking me to chicagoweddings.com. I am displeased />:(

Taking out the trash. That could be due to the fact that I'm in an apartment building and the dumpster is four buildings away. But I don't think that's entirely the reason. I just hate dealing with garbage. Am looking forward to foisting that duty off on BF when we get married.

I know I'm also a weirdo in that I like doing the floors. We have a fair amount of tile (not linoleum, actual tile) in our house so we just bought one of those Shark Vac and Steam mops. I'm telling you, it's amazing...best $100 we ever spent. LOL.

I think I just hate all cleaning. I really need to clean my bathroom. And the kitchen floor. FI's job is the dishes, but he doesn't always get to them as fast as I'd like.

I kinda want one of those steam mops. The linoleum in my kitchen is so gross (and it's been gross since the day we moved in).

Sounds like I'm outnumbered on the hatred of vacuuming front. You can all come vacuum for me! BF usually does it, but with him not being home much for the past 2 months it's been up to me.

We also do not use the dishwasher (we have one, but don't use it because it's just 2 of us and it's expensive to run), but dishes don't bother me too much. BF is good about doing dishes too. And laundry doesn't really bug me either. Neither does cleaning the bathroom...yep, it's just vacuuming that I despise.

I HATE to clean the bathroom. The shower/tub is the most difficult thing to clean. It is almost a yoga experience to get every little spot. Where are my female plumbers to design a new easy to clean tub/shower???

Then dishes are next...but thats what dishwashers are for. I am the guilty and lazy person who puts everything in there. I stuff the thing like it's going out of style.

I hate dishes...but luckily BF loves them. Weirdo. I don't mind laundry if I have a washer/dryer, but where I'm living now doesn't have one so I have to go to a laundromat. Blech.

I hate hate HATE washing dishes. I will dry them, put them away, clear the table, cook or whatever. But I hate washing them. Ugh.

Also, this can make a fun icebreaker game. Everybody says "I hate [chore] because [reason]..." Then change the chore to "sex".

Example:
I hate doing the dishes because it makes my hands all wet and pruney!
I hate sex because it makes my hands all wet and pruney!

It's not that I hate any chore in particular, it's just that I'm horribly lazy. It's been just me living here for 9 years and I rarely had any guests (other than my parents) come over, so I got really lazy when I realized no one was going to see my nice clean house. I've been working at getting better at it, though.

I don't mind vacuuming, but right now I hate it 'cause I have a vacuum that doesn't suck and cannot wait till I get my new vacuum (it's on the registry, so hopefully someone will buy it for us, if not, it's top priority to get with our completion discount).

I agree, cleaning the bathtub/shower is not fun. What makes it not fun for me is that it's one of those tubs with the glass doors instead of a shower bar/curtain (which would be so much easier to clean) and I have VERY hard water. I even put a squeegee on the registry in hopes of trying to clean it more often.

Laundry, I agree, you'd think putting the laundry away would be the easy part, but it's not. However, I am forcing myself into a new habit of making sure it gets put away immediately - I can't have it sitting out when the cats move in (and Joe said Princess LOVES to lay on laundry, she thinks it was laid out just for her comfort).

I dont mind laundry or putting away- I just hate FOLDING clothes. I hang most of my stuff for this reason. Matching socks is another one i cant stand. (so annoying)

and unloading the dishwasher... ugh

I hate doing the never ending dishes. no dishwasher. seems like i do dishes 5 times a day and if im not washing im putting them up. or cooking to get them all dirty again....
