I think it's a perfectly fine card to play especially when it's true... I didn't come on here to be attacked. I came on here to plan my wedding and maybe socialize with other brides. I felt especially that since people are going through the same things they would want to be more sympathetic towards other people... not delibertly going out of their way to attack people on the boards...

If you don't like me or someone else, just leave us alone and go whine and call the wahmbulance somewhere else. I just don't want to see it. Have a good day.

And no, it's not a good card to play. I'm not going to feel sorry for you. You should feel completely ashamed of yourself. I see people die every week. They would love that shred of dignity that you so carelessly throw away. No one freaking cares about your health problems, especially if it has NOTHING to do with anything.

Go to brides.com. They'll be much more sympathetic.

I was never going through what you are going through. We got engaged, told those we loved and started planning our wedding. I never delayed an engagement because of idiotic reasons. I didn't start planning our wedding before we were engaged.

I don't know you, so I cannot decide if I like you or not. I do think that you are 'off' but that has nothing to do with liking you.

I am going to play up my pregnancy card because it is a valid card to pull. Oh wait, pregnant or not, I am responsible for my words and actions. Pregnant or not, I don't deserve to be treated any differently than someone else.

If your looking to talk to other brides about planning your wedding perhaps your should look into the boards that are designed for those who are engaged and planning a wedding rather than the NOT ENGAGED YET (I realize that many people here are now engaged or married but the idea of this board isn't a forum for wedding planning or advice on such so what prompted you to come here looking for that?). I'm NEY but I've heard that the Planning and Etiquette board is great.
