where did you buy your jewelry and your shoes?

Jewelry:    I have my first fitting on Friday and then I will be ready to buy my jewelry!  I want the dressmaker's input because she has an eye for these things, and we need to make sure we have finalized the neckline of the dress first. Where did you find yours?

Shoes:       I am guessing lots of people will mention Saugus Shoe Barn, and I will try it, but are there any other stores that have a decent selection?

For jewelry... there's a post below with some great recs.

And for shoes, zappos.com is great and they have free shipping so you can send them back and forth as much as you want! Also, any good dsw, macy's or nordstrom rack (one at the northshore mall and another in framingham).

I went to the Shoe Barn - the people there were very unfriendly, and not very helpful.  They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking them to get some shoes in my size.  I will never go back.

I ended up buying a pair of awesome Nina shoes at DSW.

My jewelry is going to be my "something borrowed" from my mom.

Shoes to Dye for in Natick has a great selection if you want to actually try them on ... I ordered my shoes from Endless.com because they have great prices and an excellent selection with free shipping both ways ... I ordered about 6 pairs and decided on the one that fit my foot the best ...

Shoes to Dye For in Natick has a good selection of shoes AND bridal jewelry.  I got hair pins and shoes there, but they also have necklaces, earrings, etc.  I got a necklace at Macy's.  Dajuli on Newbury's has a lot of costume jewelry--sparkly things.  Some pieces look nicer than others.  They have a bunch of bridal-y stuff.

I got shoes that were worth $180 for $35 (including shipping) on Ebay. Rock! I am making my own jewelry.

I got my jewelry from Haute Bride at POB and online through White Aisle and from a little shop in RI called Simply Dainty. My shoes (which I keep changing) have been off of Ebay and DSW.

I'm going to Shoes to Dye for tomorrow! I'm hoping to find a pair of shoes, hair accessories and bridal jewelry all in one trip.

Off Broadway Shoes had some cute things in there last time I was in...

My necklace was from Etsy and my earrings from Forever 21. My shoes were from Off Broadway Shoes.

I found my shoes on endless.com, but ended up ordering them from shoebuy.com for cheaper (with an online coupon).  Both have free shipping & free return shipping (like zappos.com), so I ordered shoes 4-5 at a time, would try them on, and then ship back whatever I didn't want.  Worked really well (especially since I could try them out for more than 5 min at a time).

    My jewelry I already own.
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)

I bought my earrings at Brooks Brothers and borrowed a bracelet from a friend for my "something borrowed."

I think I bought/returned 50 pairs of shoes from Zappos, Endless, Nordys and Stuart Weitzman (I have a hard foot to fit).  I ended up finding a pair at a show store on the Cape - completely by random - and they were very comfy.  They were by Jack Rogers.

I'm still looking for jewelry but found a lot of great things at Swarovski.  I bought my shoes at DIor. But you should check out Endless.com too. They have free shipping too.
