We are having a green wedding (no extra envelopes, limited cut flowers, etc) so I didn;t want to have a guestbook but I still wanted a keepsake with people's names and messages. Sooooo I found a website online of a ceramics studio in RI that does guestbook platters. There are a lot online but I ended up e-mailing them a picture of the flowers in my bouquet and they are doing a modern monogram in the center. I am so excited! Guests sign it with a pen and you bake the platter in the oven and then use it or display it after. Such a cool idea! If there are any other "green" girls out there I would highly recommend it. The place is Weirdgirl Creations in Barrington RI. They ship too so you don't have to go there. I did everything online and over the phone.
