Share your favors!

Ok.. FI and I cannot seem to find a favor we both like... right now the leading choice is a small box with three chocolate truffles in it.. but we want something a little more fun!

What are you all doing?!

Thanks for sharing!!!

We're doing a set of 4 handmade coasters for each couple or individual guest.  Jake's aunt runs her own high-end candy company, and she is making us white chocolate truffles, nice big ones, 1 for each person :)  I have pics of the coasters in my planning bio!

We did a scratch ticket.  People told us they had a lot of fun with them.  I also made labels to put on little chocolate bars.

We are kind of all over the place - hand fans for the outdoor ceremony (in July), a candy buffet, and my fi and I are donating in our guests name to our local animal shelter...

I was just getting a coffee in this place in Lowell (Brewed Awakening) and they were selling chocolate covered s'mores from this place called Sweet Lydias.  OMG SO GOOD!   She does pretzels and stuff too and the prices are reasonable.  I totally would have done this if I hadn't already planned a candy bar.  Here is her website:  http://www.sweetlydias.com/

wow these are all awesome ideas.

Stacey- those coasters look awesome! I wish I was crafty enough to try that out!

I am between two ideas-- a box with three chocolate truffles in it...

or bread dipping sauce in a custom labeled bottle.. cause who doesnt love bread and dip?

    I dunno... :)

FI is an avid homebrewer, so he is going to be making a wedding white ale, and we're having labels made for the bottles (www.myownlabels.com).  For the little ones, we're going to make a rootbeer. It ties in well with our laid back wedding.

Even you homebrewing is not something you want to attempt, I've heard of people buying a beer, wine, olive oil, dipping oil etc. that they like, and affixing their own labels to the bottles.  It's definitely a bit different and very fun.Smile

We are having our wedding on my parents apple farm....so for each couples seating assignment they will get a bottle of sparkling cider (label has their name/table assignment) and around the neck of the bottle will be a custom keychain bottle opener with our "saying" on it.  :-)   The sparkling cider will also double as the drink for the toast.
