RSVP cards

When are you asking guests to mail their RSVP cards back to you? We are trying to decide on a date for this.

I'm doing a month before. The caterer needs to know 2 weeks before but I want some extra time to track down those that don't respond on time and I want to make sure I have enough time to figure out who will sit at what table and do the escort cards.

I'm only doing 3 weeks before because my venue needs the numbers 1 week prior. That gives me 2 weeks to round up the stragglers, which I think is plenty of time.

I'm doing a month before because I need to know everything 2 weeks before for the caterer, florist for centerpieces, etc. This makes all of the RSVPs due 1 week after my semester ends, which gives me plenty of time to catch up with any stragglers

I'm doing three weeks before, my numbers are due to the caterer 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. But we have a relatively small guest list, so we shouldn't have to track down too many people.

One month because I think it will be easier for people to remember. We need to tell our venue 5 days before.

I am doing a month before, we don't need final counts but I am afraid some of FI's family won't answer and I will have a hard time tracking them down. Also, if we have more than 85% of our guests come, we may need to take out a small loan so I want time to do that.

We put one month before but think we will have to start following up before that because our venue is already asking for approx. numbers.
