Did you have a good weekend?

Ours was too short.  Shopped Saturday morning- garden rocks. clothes for DH, and $135 at Sams on various crap, and lunch out.

Besides church the rest of the weekend was spent working in the yard.  Well DH worked.  6let followed him around.  Megan and I played.

    Saturday was my class reunion.  One of my classmates and his wife brought their 10mo daughter and their 17 yo nephew.  :/

    Yesterday I did the grocery shopping and some cleaning at home.  I sat up and listened to/watched the storms.

    All in all, it was a pretty uneventful weekend.

    Mine had its highs and lows.  Bridesmaids was hilarious.  Got to see Dad and Wife v. 3.0, plus sister, nieces and BIL.  Lots of snuggle time with DD.

    Lows:  Incredibly upset tummy since Friday night.  Things are still not settled and I may go home early if things continue in this fashion.  My annual exam jump started a period, so after months of not having one, I got it on top of the tummy issues.  Boooo.  Basically, from the ribs down I'm all messed up.

    I'm here too.  :)

    Weekend was pretty good.  The kiddo went to Chicago with my sister.   So it was just me, DH, and DefConn.  Friday night we just relaxed and watched "Double Jeopardy" on FX.  DH worked Sat. and Sun. 

    Saturday, I went to try on BM dresses for my sister's wedding.  I found the one I'm going to order.  DH and I had a great dinner at home and watched "Hot Tub Time Machine".

    Yesterday, DefConn and I hung out together all day and I got some major cleaning and landry done.  When DH and the kiddo got home, we all went to JCP to buy a new coffee maker for DH.  Then I went over to the baby sitters to drop off DefConn's cradle and diapers and such.

    I did. 

    Race on Saturday was good, H beat me by about 40 seconds, but I still won 3rd in my division.  Yay for Athenas! 

    Saturday night was dinner for a friend's bday and drinks, much laughing and snorting ensued.

    Sunday was recovery and general relaxing.

    Friday was great, DK took off and we saw Bridesmaids and Thor with lunch in between. Saturday we did some chores in the am and I went swimming in the afternoon while DK chopped down one of our trees. He joined me in the pool and we had a nice swim before dinner. After dinner I started feeling crummy (achy, headache, etc.) and felt that way all through Sunday and this morning. I have something of an upset stomach this morning too, but had a ton of meetings so came in to work. I may leave early and take my computer home if still feeling crummy after lunch.

    Saturday we went to see my dad with M. We weren't going to go but decided to surprise him (and my mom - we went to see her at work). He was having a pretty good day and had a good visit with the baby. We went back to my parents' house and made dinner for my mom. We also made her food for the week.

    Sunday we cleaned and purged more out of the apartment. Then vegged a little. I went through M's clothes and moved her 3month stuff in and her NB stuff out. If anyone needs NB girl stuff I have plenty! Let me know.

    All in all a good weekend. This coming weekend will be FAR better - we're going down the shore with friends.

    Saturday was good. We're rearranging/painting some of our furniture, so I had a newly-painted bureau to move my craft stuff into. (The former craft cabinet is going to be a china hutch.) Then we tried out a new BBQ place in our city (thanks, restaurant.com!) and I made myself a new slip to go under a couple summer dresses. 

    Sunday the children's choir sang with us. Ugh. If I had known, I totally would have skipped out. Didn't even have anyone to brunch with after, because my two friends were sick and overslept, respectively. Came home and finished up last week's TV with H, then went back for Vespers. Had the pleasure of being totally thrown off by the world's hottest microphone and the sanctimonious bee-atch (who used to be in choir) who sits in the front row and sings super-loud, half a beat late, and just a little bit longer than the cantor. 

    Obviously, none of us was raptured.

    I had a great weekend in DC.

    1. I loved all of the chocolate eye candy.
    2. My feet were hurting from walking so much, but I did get to see most of the major places you must see when you go.
    3. I went out and danced. Something I haven't done in forever.
    4. I had two great gtg's with Hooka and HMonkey. I'm sure I talked their heads off, but it was great hanging out with them.
    5. I had some great food, including a fab bacon wrapped meat loaf with HMonkey. Yum.

    Sat morning I had to be at work at 7:30 for an event. I was grumpy. I left my lights on and killed my battery and had to be jumped. We had our moving sale. We made over $250 and then we went to dinner and Pirates of the Carribean with friends.
    Sunday was day 2 of the moving sale. I went to starbucks and when I got back I decided to parallel park my new car in front of my husbands truck. I don't know if I was not awake or what the feck my problem was...but I hit the truck. Scraped a good long dent into my car...like 4 feet worth. The truck is undamaged. I'm pretty bummed.
    At least we got rid of the rest of our crap that day.
