Another death.

I have a friend on FB, and her best friend (was turning 26 this year) died on Friday. I went to this girl's FB page and it's just so sad. She was engaged. Her FI has posts on there just saying goodnight to her every night. And family in shock.

Everyday I think that I am thankful and appreciative, but really, do I really realize how fragile life is? Like, one second on this girl's FB she's posting about doing her nails, exchanging gifts with friends at Christmas, going out for lunch with her mom, and the next, she's gone.

She died of complications of surgery. I have no idea what surgery she had though. That is scary. You'd think in this day and age 26 year olds wouldn't be dying from surgery itself.

Anyway, just another reminder to appreciate what you have and everyone in it!

Definitely agree... I had a friend of a friend that I was FB friends with and she died in college. Beautiful girl.. had so much going for her... and it was really sad to read things on her wall and see pictures where she was just glowing and so smiley. Gone forever. So so sad and a great reminder that we can't let the little things get in the way of the big picture!

So sorry...that's very sad...and yes, we should all take a step back and appreciate things a little more...
