Anyone done a Caribbean Cruise for their honeymoon?

We are thinking of doing a Caribbean Cruise for our honeymoon. Has anyone else done this for their honeymoon? If so would you reccomend and what Cruise line did you use? We live in California.

    I've been on a few Caribbean cruises (not for my HM) but for trips in the past. I have done the Western and Southern Caribbean itineraries and they were both amazing, but I would highly recommend the Southern itinerary. I've been on both Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and again they were both great and a lot of fun, but Royal Caribbean was definitely nicer and had less kids running around. For your HM, I would suggest sailing with either Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Princess, or Celebrity.

    Also, a word of advice is to fly in to your departure port a day early and spend the night there so you can relax and enjoy that port of call as well and not worry about missing the ship's departure due to flight delays or cancellations. This happened to friends of mine last summer and they had to pick up the ship a few days later at it's first stop and missed out on a few days on the ship.

    Not for our honeymoon, but have cruised manytimes before & would only recommend Royal Caribbean! IMO they are the best of all of them, especially for adult couples.

    We live in California and are doing a Caribbean cruise also.  We chose Princess Cruise line and we're going on the Eastern Caribbean cruise.  I've been to the Caribbean before, but my FI hasn't.  I would recommend the Eastern Caribbean over the others!!!!!
    I would definitely recommend Princess or Royal Caribbean for your HM....Carnival doesn't seem romantic enough for a HM.

    We are going on Celebrity Solstice for our HM per the suggestion of FI's aunt who is a TA. We are leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale on Jan 2, but flying in on the 31st. It was cheaper that way and we get to start our HM for NYE.
