Jessieleight, I totally understand your concern about missing being a virgin.  Sometimes I think about it, too.  But I suspect we'll have an atitutde along these lines: "College was great, I'm glad I went.  But it was time for me to move on.  I'm enjoying being independent, and this new sophisticated life I'm having as a working person is fulfilling."  That is, we'll move on, and we'll discover new joys as we grow up.  But who knows... I'm still a virgin, and I don't know what to expect!

    I don't think you'll miss it.  Neither H nor I did/do.  There were absolutely no regrets, no looking back...just lots of...um, fun. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />

I will say this - we had a brunch the next morning with our family.  It was very strange to go, knowing they were probably looking at us thinking, "I know what you did last night!"  But we quickly got over it and had a great time with the family before they left town and we went on our honeymoon.

I am definitely nervous. Becoming less so as I learn more about sex (I come from a very sheltered family, and I never took biology to even learn that aspect) and become just generally more open with my FI. I still kind of freak out every time I think that I have to get naked in front of someone... =S

My grandpa gave us some books the other night, 2 were about sex. (He is a pastor, but still weird getting books about sex from your grandpa!) I read some of it (I didn't want to read a lot of it quite yet) but, they had some general anatomy of the body, which I found was really helpful! I learned a lot. They also had some questions that people had asked, which FI and I read together, which helped us become more open about it as well, and brought up other questions that we had for each other. (Also, how to stretch the hymen before your wedding night so it doesn't hurt the first time! which totally freaks me out)

I would recommend finding a book to help if you have any questions/ concerns about sex. The ones my g-pa gave us were Christian books, so they tied God into it all (which I think we often forget to do).
