When are you getting your marriage license?

we are hopfully getting it this week. in ontario, I'm able to go to city hall with the marriage application, signed by us both, and apply for the license with our my fiance being there. i just have to bring 2 pieces of his ID and we are good to go! he usually works OOT on job sites so it's easiest if i apply without him.

We haven't decided yet. Our state has a 1 day waiting period, so we'll probably wait until early October. No need to have an extra piece of paper sitting around waiting to be lost, especially with a cat that enjoys sitting on and gnawing on paper.

We can't get ours until 10/9 since we don't get to FL until the 6th. Thankfully there is no waiting for us in FL. Yay!!

Whenever FI gets his Birth Certificate back from the passport agency or getting a new one... which ever comes first...

I think we my go on the 11th. I have a Dr's appointment at 3:30 so I think I will take a half day, go to the court house, then go to the Dr's.

I don't know. FI has Sundays and Mondays off work but on days he does work his work day overlaps when the probate court is open. So it'll be on a Monday, I just don't know when. FI complains if I plan out his days off too much.

No idea. I know the latest will be 10/5 cause 10/8 is a holiday and therefore 10/5 is the last day we can get it because of the 3 day waiting period in NJ.

We already did. In New York State, you can do as much as sixty days before, so we went a week ago from this past Friday, which put us at like fifty days out, I think. We went that early becaue I already had the day off, and FI was taking it off for his bachelor party. He LOOOVED starting his day of fun at the court house, ha ha.

Sept 10th. I have the day off work for my first fitting, FI also has the day off. I think that is the only day before the wedding we can get it.

I was going to wait til the week of, but fi was home two weeks ago on a friday so we went to pick it up. Funny thing was fi realized you could get married at the courthouse so he was like why don't we just do it that day. I had to inform him maryland has a 2 day waiting period. He said oh then nvm that wont work.

Soon hopefully! We're just waiting on our marriage counseling to be over to have our officiant sign that we completed it. Without counseling the license is 76 dollars and with it its only 36. We should be done in the next two weeks or so. I think last night was the last night of the videos but he was preaching at a revival and so wasn't there. I'm sure he'll want to talk with us personally as well...so I'm not quite sure.

We are getting our Sept 26th. We have our final meeting with our DOC at the venue and she was only available on a weekday. So we thought we would make a day of it.

we are planning on getting ours in October. Don't really have a date set yet to get it, but I don't want to get it to soon....arent they only good for 30 days? Maybe thats just in Missouri.

Yeah, it differs a lot from state-to-state. My sister's getting married in two weeks in North Carolina and I forget what her cutoff was but she didn't really have a lot of time to do it and was having to do it the day before her rehearsal, I think? But in New York state, we can do it as much as sixty days out or as little as seventy-two hours, I think?

Our cut-off in PA is 60 days. We're going to get it on Tuesday because we have to pick it up in a city about 40 min from where we live.

We can't get ours any earlier than 30 days out, and there's a 3 day waiting period, so we'll probably go the first week of October.

No idea. I don't think there is a wait period in our state, but we can get it at any point now. We will probably wait until early Oct though....Sept is going to be nuts!

Its slightly problematic since he really can't get out of work to come with me. He may have to run here on lunch combined with a day that he has an appointment nearby and do it that way. I'm hoping to accomplish this sometime in September because October seems like its cutting it closer than I would like!

Friday Sept 14th. We need to get it to the church 2 weeks before the ceremony and I just tried to find a Friday before then that I had off that would work for FI. For our county it doesn't look like we have to bring anything with us (drivers license, birth certificate, SS card....), but I am bringing that stuff anyways. You just have to give that info and swear under an oath that it is correct. Oh well...
