Re: G'mornin

  • Good morning ladies,

Nebb---I am truly jealous of you and your food trucks and your concerts. I love concerts/music festivals and there are so many that I want to go to this year but we have so many weddings and crap to go to that I can't go to any of them and it makes me SO SAD. Cinci is actually having 1 this weekend with so many bands that H and I like and we can't go :(

KateJ--I didn't know you can get TV series on Redbox..is that all of them or just some? I have never seen them :-/

I need to find a project to do today or I am going to go crazy or get drunk all on my own. If I were smart I'd get my run out of the way earlier because I almost passed out when I got done yesterday since it was so hot. I doubt that will happen though. Time to organize tupperware and read a whole book in a day I think.

DH and I watched it when it was on Netflix. It's addicting! We can't wait for the next installment.

Morning everyone. I should be working on dictations before I have to leave, but I'm kind of putting them off.
  • Morning! I am exhausted. We were out later than we wanted to be last night with our friends having dinner. Then when we get home, theres this huge truck in our driveway (we live in a townhouse so we share a driveway with like 16 other townhouses) doing some sort of utility work. At 10:30 at night. It soundedl ike the worlds hugest vacuum and was SO LOUD. Who the eff does that?  They've been doing work since early yesterday and are continuing today.  Why would they make so much ruckus at 10:30 at night like that?  I didn't sleep very well.

H found his truck yesterday (FINALLY) and it is a screaming deal.  The guy is selling it for like 4 grand less than it's worth because he just wants it gone.  He's about to get divorced and has bills he would have to pay off, plus he doesn't want to have to split the value of the truck with his wife in the split.  We're pre-approved for the loan, sow e're headed to go test drive it tonight! I'm excited.

Morning all. Now my damn phone decides to randomly lose 3G service in between loading pages. Sigh. In fact, I think it might be gone again. I don't know if it's my new Droid Razr or Verizon. The server was siren at work most of yesterday, so I've got a lot to catch up on. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
  • BK- isnt the new Razr 4G?

  • BK, I hear you on internet issues. I'm on a regular laptop, but our interent has been SO SLOW lately, and I have no idea why. It's highly annoying trying to watch a video on hulu and have everyone stuttering the entire time because it can't keep the connection smooth enough.

Smash, last night on my walk with Lucy I encountered this dumb slore who was walking her two shih tzus off leash.  They were WAY out in front of her and as they approached my dog, she yelled out, "MY DOGS ARE NOT FRIENDLY!!!"  So I picked up Lucy while these little fuckheads growled at her and as she walked by she said to me, "Haha, sorry, and I can never catch up to them because of my bad knee."

Um.  Fuckingwhat, hossbag?  Put your asshole fucking dogs on some fucking leashes, you dumbshit.  Fuckingfuck.

  • pretty much all little dogs are assholes. But my dog can def be an asshole too, that's my favorite thing to say to him when we are out walking. He starts pulling towards another dog and I say, "Come on you asshole!" so the other people realize I know that my dog is a turd.

Ever since we got a dog I have become more and more rageful about other people with dogs.  I mean, this is stuff I've never noticed before.  I'm sure we are not the perfect dog parents or whatever because Lucy is not perfectly trained and isn't always behaving well, but for the love of fuckssake, when she shits on the sidewalk, we pick it up.  When we walk her, she is leashed.  Lucy loves kids but if a kid is scared of her, we remove her from the situation.  If Lucy's gonne be a dillhole at the dog park, we are leaving.  And if someone doesn't want Lucy in their house, she's in the garage.  WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO JUST RESPECT EACH OTHER AND FOLLOW RULES AND DOG ETIQUETTE.  Balls.

  • AATB, that would've pissed me off.  The dog I almost hit was a black lab, I think, and he was making a beeline for two other dogs (both pitties) who were LEASHED and the poor woman looked mortified when I almost tanked the dog.

Simon, God knows, is not well behaved, but he's friendly.  I realize he's huge and can be intimidating, so I'm super conscious of him scaring people.  And plus, I don't want him to get shot.  Or anything.

  • Little dogs are complete jackholes. After working at vet clinics and kennels I can tell you with confidence that the little ones were worse then the pitties, shepherds, rotties, and whatever stereotypically "bad" big dog breed you'd like. DB doesn't bite but she's just a raging bag of go eff off. Then she'll kiss you to death.

Good morning all.  Holy hell, the end of rehearsal last night was an experience I'd like not to repeat.  Three of the older members of the cast, college-age girls, had a complete sobbing meltdown over something silly.  It took the director, me (I'm the musical director) and the stage manager to calm them down and reassure them that we weren't unhappy with them and that adding 2 additional girls to a small-group number was not a reflection on them at all and not telling them about it in advance was just a reality of theater.  FFS.  I needed tequila after that.

  • Buddy is a smaller dog (not tiny though) and he is, at the most, really energetic.  He's not agressive, but will lick you to death and he does bark.

The most annoying dog I have ever come across was a former roommates Jack Russell Terrier.  Her dad bought this dog as a "surprise" for her and she brought him home.  This dog, when he was out and about in the apartment, would pee on the floors and run around like he owned the place.  He used my dining room table as a chew toy once.  And she used to complain all the time that he would rip stuff up in her bedroom.  I didn't have a dog at the time, but I knew well enough that she needed to exercise him more.  He was bored.  And the dog wasn't kennel trained, so everytime he got put in the kennel, he would bark...constantly.  Many sleepless nights because of that dog.

On top of all that, I don't think the apartment complex knew that he was there.

  • Good Morning ladies!

I'm finally back after being off for 2 days. H brought home this nasty infection, so we are a lovely couple. It's boring at work today, I'm all caught up and the boss is leaving early.

AATB- I'm sorry I think I'd have to punt that little sh!t, then ask her if she can catch it now. Idiots! My friend and I were walking our dogs when this little sh!t came up to her Husky, the guys says "oh he's friendly, just nippy", as he's trying to eat Drago's face what the hell is that? She almost let Drago eat him.

  • BIL and SIL have a Shih Tzu and she is the most vindictive thing ever. She is fine and dandy and sweet if she is inside where everyone else is. But if she is left outside alone in the pen, she'll whine and yelp like she is being attacked (neighbors have come over to check on her before she was so obnoxious). If they leave her at home alone too long, she'll go into their bedroom and poop on one of their pillows. No wonder DH hates little dogs...

Lol, no.  Some dogs just really hate being alone.  In fact all dogs hate being alone.  It's not natural for them to be alone, dogs are pack animals.  Dogs today have more anxiety than they have at any point in history because they are left alone for longer amounts of time.  More dogs have legit anxiety issues and more actually are medicated for anxiety because of the time they don't spend with their owners.  Obviously not all dogs get that bad, but I read recently about the upward trend.  Kinda made sense to me.  The dog loves you completely and doesn't understand why you have to be gone at work all day, all he knows is that he wants you around all the time.  It's the worst thing ever when you leave and the best thing ever when you come back.
