What time to put on invite?

We are doing our cocktail first, at 4:30, with a short Bedeken at the end, followed by the ceremony at 5:30 and the reception immediately following.  What time do I put on the invite?

If your cocktail hour is first, at 4:30, I'd put 4:30.

That's what my original intention was.  I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.  Thanks!

I put the time of both the chuppah and the cocktail hour on mine (the cocktail is happening before the chuppah).  That way people know when the ceremony is starting if they're going to be late.

i agree with chava as if people think the ceremony starts at 4:30 they'll probably show up early.  its nice to know if it is a cocktail hour so that if you're 5 minutes late you won't miss the ceremony!

<div>That's what my concern is.  Because it is so common to have the ceremony first I'm worried if people see 4:30 on the invite that they will show up at 4:00, to be early.  I'm contemplating going with Chava's idea (how would I word it?) or maybe splitting the different and putting 5:00.</div>

Shortee that's pretty much exactly how my invite works:

    Cocktail hour (5pm)

    Chuppah (6pm)

    Reception Immediately following Chuppah

I haven't had any problems with anyone understanding it yet and we have a wide range of guests.
