It is not, Hmo. It's a nice, pretty, classic name. And it's my grandmother's first name with the feminized version of my grandfather's first name.

ETA: The feminized version of my grandfather's name is still a pretty, classic girl's name. If my grandfather's name was Christopher, the middle name would be Christina. I'm not talking about something ridiculous like Frankella or Herbwina.

No, DG. It CANNOT be the beginning of summer again, or I might just kill someone.

It's finally the middle of September, and I'm dreaming of November weather. Yum.

now i hope that i name my future kid or dog one of all y'alls saved names.  MWAH HAHAHAHAHAH

i'll have to look up our list of names.  i know they're pretty ordinary, just a list of kevins, abigails and so on.  dh nixed the trendy ones i liked, like gray and keaton.

confession - I drink at least a half gallon of milk a day.  I could drink that much in one sitting at supper.

I had my childhood bff name her daughter the exact name we've chosen (first and middle!) without even knowing mine. So weird.
And my friend, who I recently reconnected with from middle school, has chosen the same boy name as us. So she knows that our boys will have the same name. we thought it was a funny coincidence.

dh is looking for a new job.  i am ridiculously excited about this.  if he finds something stable and awesome, we may move and stay here for another few years.

i am not opposed to staying here for up to five years.  but we need to decide about getting a house.  and (here's the part where i am ridiculously excited) if we get a house, then we can get a dog.  A DOG.

i have the name all picked out.  maybe i should go crazy, tb-style, and start buying a collar, a leash, dog toys, a bed, etc before we even start TTBH (trying to buy house).

I am so far in the biodome right now I don't see myself coming out for a while now. If ever. Which is weird, two years ago I was like Duckis, clawing at the door. I think school ruined me.

Zilla, we just bit the bullet after we'd made the decision that we wanted a 2nd dog bad enough.  You can train dogs to be whatever you'd like.  Or at least that is how H and I feel.

Unfortunately we don't work as much with Blake as we did Hank, therefore our new buddy is an acorn eating, butt licking weirdo.  But we like him that way.  Most of the time.

Someone offered my H a free AKC yellow lab puppy. She's planning on a litter being born next summer. I'm standing my ground with No No no I don't want three dogs and I never want another puppy EVER...but I know if I see the puppy or smell it's breath I'll cave. Hopefully my H's friend will forget she ever offered.

Blake is ~3-4 so he's not a puppy.  Though sometimes you would wonder.  What with his bouncing and tendency to string tp through our house.

Confession:  I want my friend and her bf to break up, because she's consantly unhappy.  I will be very sad if they do though, because I love her BF.  They're just not right for each other RIGHT now.

I have girl names, but no boy names. I also feel that I should have "push" power, and be able to veto any jacked up names the baby daddy comes up with.

interesting.  maybe this is how i can get "gray" and "keaton" back on the list, and "chewbacca" off the list.
