Places to take photos in San Fernando Valley?

Does anyone know of any nice parks or gardens in the Los Angeles/ San Fernando Valley area where we can take wedding photos?

There's a Japanese garden on Burbank in Encino.

I was intreagued by the pp's post as I had no idea that park existed .. it's beautiful (they do charge a $200 fee though). We thought about taking our e-pics at Lake Balboa. It has the lake, lots of open grassy areas and also the usual playground stuff (swings, jungle gym...) We did ours at Temescal Cyn and our photographer found a very small park area right down the street from there.
I'll have to check out the Japanese garden!!

my friend took her pics at balboa lake and they don't look that great. The photographer was amazing...the location was dull...there isn't enough change in the topography and there arn't enough trees for good shadows and the lake looks man made (because it is) because of all the concrete. My friend wishes she'd goone else where....200 would be worth it for the Japanese gardens...BEAUTIFUL!
