Morning!

I woke up at 5am for no good reason. lame.

I've got a exam to take this morning, a house to clean, and then my magical weekend begins. My H took off work today so we're going out for a lunch of Mongolian barbecue and then to the big home show expo that's going on. I love seeing all the new ideas for home gadgets, appliances, and such. We've been thinking of adding a fireplace so this will be a perfect opportunity to scope them out and maybe spend some tax return money.

Good luck on your exam! Have fun at the home show. I love that kind of stuff.

I have a dr appt today.. the NT scan (where they can update on chances on Downs, trisomy disorders, etc.) I'm actually a little nervous now, but H is coming with thankfully. Apparently they'll guess gender too!

Other than that, I got nothin. This weekend is a big hockey weekend.

WI plays here in MN for college hockey, and it's the last series of the season. As long as we don't get completely creamed, we should have an automatic bid to the playoffs. FINALLY.

TGIFF. This has been the longest week ever.

Ugh, your post reminds me that I still have to do my taxes. I have no idea why I procrastinate so badly when mine are so simple.

I think we're going to WV this weekend. Tomorrow we'll once again hike the mountain that kicks my arse. 1.5 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation. I am hoping we can stop a few less times for me to catch my breath on the way up this time. I am curious to see what my Fitbit will say about the climb.

Home shows are like porn to me. i love them so much that I disgust myself. Plus I'm all about the freebies. Yardstick, fly swatter, pens, random cleaning supplies..

Fingers crossed for a perfect scan! Although I have known a few people recently who had a less than favorable scan but still ended up with perfect little babies. So try not to worry too much. Of course you'll worry though. It's a mom thing ;)

Im still totally obsessing over the punch brothers, I cant stop listening to them and turning the whole night over in my head. Im seriously obsessing. I dont know why cause ive never been like this before.

I dont have much going on today other than work, and I really dont know how exciting that will be. I missed yesterday cause I had a headache and I honestly dont think I missed much. Im really just looking to my dinner of soft boiled eggs and vegging out reading. That bastard im married to is cheating and reading three fucking books at once so I have to step it up.

Not much going on here. I'm in a relatively good mood and am excited to get home to see if my posters are here. I got my marketing stuff in yesterday and it looked great, so I'm eager to see if my posters look just as awesome.

H and I had a major stupid moment last night. I was swinging his headlamp as we were walking inside, and the thing broke apart. The top part and batteries went flying. So we got out the flashlight, found the batteries and top part, then spent a half hour looking for the back. Finally we gave up and set the stuff next to the band, only to discover that the back part was still attached to the band. Duh. We wasted all that time looking for something that was never even lost.

Moral of the story - never swing a headlamp. They break.

Morning! TGIF most definitely!

I slept like garbage last night. I always do for the first week that H is deployed; every little noise sounds like someone is breaking into the house to rape and/or kill me. I should really start wearing pajamas to bed now.

Not much going on today, just work and then I need to go grocery shopping. This weekend will be filled with cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning (I'm actually excited about this), and hopefully getting in some quality gym time.

Morning all! TN is not letting me post today, I am not pleased.

Steph, good luck at your NT! It's amazing, becuse they actually look like babies at that point. I had a stubborn LO and we had to go back twice, but I'm not complaining about extra u/s!

My Dr's apt yesterday went well. Derek finally got to meet the man who'll have a very good knowledge of my lady bits, and he likes him, so that's good.

Tonight, maybe buying appliances? There's a customer appreciation event at The Brick and it's hard to pass up 25% off!

Steph - The gender guessing sounds exciting! I was just thinking the other day if I ever become preggers (WAY in the future) if I'd want to know or want it to be a surprise. It seems easier for planning purposes to know.

Nothing going on today, I didn't end up working in the other lab yesterday so I had to quickly rearrange all of my plans. It wored out becaues I could start something that I will finish today. The roads are icy here but thankfully that didn't effect the tracks because the trains weren't delayed!

Thanks edie and lbarr! I think if it had been hot that day like it usually is in FL, I'd be so red in the face that I'd be nearly unrecognizable, but thankfully it was a very cool day. I think it was around 60*F when that was taken.

Morning! Hooray for Friday! I have a busy day, and I'm greatly looking forward to relaxing by myself at home tomorrow morning (H is working). I love him, and I love spending more time with him, but I miss having time to myself at home (I used to be home by myself a lot and it's been weird adjusting to not ever having any time at home alone). Plus, I need to work on my anniversary gift to him, and it's hard to do when he's home.

It's donut Friday. And I'm picking my sister up at the airport from NYC tonight! She just got offered an awesome job as a fashion designer and I'm so happy for her.

I just caught on to the FB/Twitter drama. Are people going to be stupid enough to "like" things in a message board convo? Most people here wouldn't want the FB world to know about their posts so hopefully noone uses the function. Gross.

I know! It's ironic after all the donut posting yesterday. We get donuts brought in every Friday. :) Although I must admit I quit eating donuts for a very long time because I didn't like them either. But free breakfast is free breakfast and nowI look forward to it every week!
