  • new one:

I judge grown up adults who constantly bitch about their jobs/work environment, but don't do a damn thing to try and change it.  I'm not saying you have to find a new job, but at least send out a few resumes.  Or, if you don't want to change your situation, quit complaining.

On a side note, not to be all sig police, but is there any way you can shrink your pictures enough for them to be side by  side?  Your sig is rather large (I love the pics, they're just monstrous on my screen).

  • OH I HAVE A JUDGMENT!

I judge this chick I went to high school with who's BSC, and talked to this guy in Wisconsin for a WEEK before having him fly to Canada and MARRY her. This was two years ago, and she's been flying back and forth between the US ever since. Now she's filing for her green card, and asked me where to find her I-94 number, which she doesn't have because she never entered on a non-immigrant visa, and I kind of hope she gets royally screwed by immigration.

H's birthday falls either on Thanksgiving, or just after. I've made it a point to make him his own special cake every year (or pie, depending on what he wants). But he actually likes it when it's on Thanskgiving because he says that all the food is just for him, the perfect gift.
  • I judge my neighbor for trying to compete with Clark Griswald. I get that you like the big yard Christmas blow ups, but we live at a dead end. It took me an extra 10 mins to get down my street because of the traffic jam caused by people coming to see your display. Tone it down a notch dude.

  • I judge the people who keep giving me grief that I basically sit at my desk at work now instead of busting my arse carrying around computers, 200 pound carts (pushing) or running around like a crazy person. Sorry dudes, I'm not bleeding anymore to make your lives more convenient.

I also judge myself for being "that" pregnant person. I'm sure it will settle down once I'm into second tri but I have definitely become that person who has their entire life revolving around their pregnancy and it's annoying even me. That being said, if our house has to be a bit messier or I have to be more of a bum at work, so be it that's just the way it is.

Nebbs, H's birthday is today so he feels you on the Christmas pain. Normally everyone just forgets his birthday because they are running around doing last minute Christmas stuff and then remember it on Christmas, and go "oh, well just pretend this Christmas present is your birthday present then." Yeah, not the same.

Ricks, I got so much crap when my friends found out how much money I spent in vet bills for my rats. Over their 2 1/2 year lives I probably spent a good $3k in vet bills. It may be crazy, but they are my babies and if it costs $300 to give them meds to fix a treatable thing then so be it.

I agree, right now im just thankful that I have a job.

On the other hand, if I have a bad night at work and come home and bitch about a customer or something, my FBIL tells me I chose to work in the service industry so I cant complain.

Yeah, I get it, but cant I come home and vent to FI about a holes?

  • crose- Complaining about a bad day is one thing; we all do that, and I wouldn't judge someone for being pissy about something like that.

I have a coworker though, who complains every.single.day. about the same stuff.  Stuff that isn't going to change (like her salary... um, you choose to work at a University. You're not going to get paid as much as someone who's working in the private industry.)

Just because you hate your job, doesn't mean you need to make me feel the same way.  I love my job right now (even though I have quite a few less-than-stellar coworkers), and I'm sick of her trying to bring me down with her.

I agree 100%. When I realized I was crying/bitching about work every single day at Psmart I switched jobs, even in the crappy economy, by taking a huge paycut. Yes the money would have been nice, but it just wasn't worth it.

**Disclaimer : I am now speaking about the teachers I work with, NOT all teachers*

Every freaking day our teachers bitch about our county and how they don't get paid enough, get worked too hard, and are never appreciated. Yet not a single one will even consider moving counties or getting a different job because they know they won't get paid as much, have weekends/breaks, or be able to work until 5 every day. Either shiit or get off the pot, or stop bitching.

**added disclaimer to explain my anger: our lowest paid teacher makes $57k, average is $60k, and most make well above $70k. 90% work 8:45am until 4:15 pm and do not do any work while not at school**

That is the exact position I am in. I got up early today so FI and I could go to Target, but now we are still sitting in our PJ's because he does not want to go. Its the only trip to any store he has  to make all week. While I have been schlepping heavy bags across malls, he has been working from home. Suck it up and lets goooo!

  • I judge the beotch who was packing my bags at the Wedge last night. I moved my cart so we could put my bags in it and also to get out of the checkout lane, and I was talking to my mom for maybe 20 seconds.  The bagger says to me "we can't block the whole walkway, you need to move that cart". I said I was not that rude and I was planning to move the cart. She was silent. I should have said worse.

It does not matter even if I was standing there too long, you don't talk that way to a customer, ever. How about "let's move that cart over here a little" or "can I move that for you." I expect them to start charging an admission fee to walk into a Coop those places are so expensive and she talks to people like that?? I am calling bullshit.

    <div>I. hate. the. Wedge.</div><div>
</div><div>Probably because I used to live about 2 blocks away and *most* people driving in and out of that parking lot are morons.  Like, would inch so far into Lyndale Ave that I'd have to stop and let them out.</div><div>
</div><div>But I'm also cheap, so that doesn't help.  They did have delicious organic yogurt when my roommate and I were too drunk/lazy to go to a big grocery store.</div>
