Has anyone been to a wedding or had their wedding at either one of these places? I have appts this weekend to go see them and I was curious for some feedback before I go. Thanks!

I am having my ceremony and reception at Bent Tree Golf Club in August.  So far, they have been great.  Very accomodating and great communication.  We just had our tasting with the chef there, and it went really well!  Jackie is the contact there, and she has been very helpful!

I went to a wedding there in September of last year. 1st impressions were not good in my opinion due to the location (behind a Burger King in a run down looking area by Eastland Mall) but once inside it was really nice. Food was good and everyting turned out pretty well. Don't let them talk you into using there "house DJ" He was not good at all in my opinion.

We had our reception at The Clock Tower just over a year ago. It was the biggest mistake of our wedding. The management staff were extremely unprofessional throughout our entire planning process. We have numerous complaints about our reception and they did nothing to rectify the situation. Please email me for more details. stullis AT insight.rr.com

The DJ was one of our biggest complaints. Our first dance song stopped in the middle (with us on the dance floor) because he "hit a button and it just stopped the song". He played a song that was an interlude in which a girlfriend calls her boyfriend to tell him she has HIV. I was dancing with 6 year olds, and my bridesmaids had to go tell him to switch the song. Things like this are absolutely unacceptable to me and unforutenalty there are many more complaints like these. Again, please emial me for more information!

I had not heard good things about the clock tower from one of my mom's co-workers who had their reception there. I guess the staff kept coming up to her and telling her that she had to go make announcements to the guests like about the cake cutting, etc. and she was like no...that's the DJ's job...? I guess she had a few other problems but I can't remember specifics.

Oh my! I don't even know what to say!! I was already leaning towards BTGC after speaking with Jackie yesterday and because their prices are better, but now I'm leaning towards it even more. Thank you very much for this insight!!!!

I visited the clock tower and they seemed really nice but I chose to go with a different place because I really didn't like the area that the clock tower was in.  I was really considering them but from hearing what the previous ladies said I am very happy I did not go with them.  I have also been to bent tree for my cousins wedding. It was a few years ago.  It was an outside ceremony, very cute.  Also a very nice reception.  I would have checked them out too but I had to big of a guest list. boo.  Good Luck.

I was a bridesmaid of friends that had their recp at the Clock Tower...It is def a place I would not recommend!  From wedding crashers, bugs, to ruining songs, the list goes on!  I would def recommend that you go else where.  Good Luck!

Someone on the wedding channel website ranked The Clock Tower 3/5, but nobody has reviewed Bent Tree.

Wedding Wire has one review.  http://www.weddingwire.com/reviews/bent-tree-golf-club-sunbury/63d8f2e16a2c69f4.html

Bent Tree Golf Course was one of the top two in the running for us, but eventually we went with another venue.  However, Jackie was always helpful and responsive to e-mails/phone calls.  The packages are awesome at Bent Tree and the golf course is beautiful!  Good luck!

I had my wedding at the Columbus Clock Tower and let's just say that we had so many complaints that never got resolved from contract issues to service and a lousy DJ that they had recommeded. He messed up on just about every thing! Cathleen and Rahman Baharami ( The owners, the cooks, the interior designers, the wedding planner/manager) are a joke and very unprofessional. A complaint has been filed with the Better Business Bureau and of course they just ignore those too. There were reviews on Yahoo! and Google but now they are all gone I'm sure they paid a pretty penny to get them removed.  They can't keep taking advantage of people who are spending thousands for a nice place but unprofessional service. Have an attorney present if you should decide to go with them.
