Brides-To-Be Get Together....What Do You Think?

Ok, so one of my friends used The Knot for all her wedding planning and got to know some really good friends through the boards. She and some of the other Knotties in her area would get together for lunch or coffee etc. So.....anyone up for starting a bride get together every other week or so? I'd love to get to know other brides as I've just moved to the Farmington Hills-ish area. If anyone has suggestions about where we could meet and when, let me know! Just think.... we can swap favor ideas and reception visions :) Feel free to send me a message. Oh yeah, MI BRIDES ROCK!

    Hi. We actually have GTG every month or so in different areas of metro Detroit. I'm not sure a weekly GTG would work because everyone is on different schedules. I know I wouldn't be able to do it since I have a ton of stuff going on in my life lately. But The Knot is here for swapping ideas. If you need ideas for anything or want to run something by us, by all means post it here and we'll help! That's why I think this board is so helpful. If people have questions, they can easily be answered on here rather than waiting to get together with people. Thats just my opinion.

    Welcome Radical Red!

    I think most of us use the board to bounce ideas off each other, and yes, we have GTG about every 2 months. We will be having one probably May 15th around the Great Lakes Crossing area, so hopefully you can attend. We'll post it.

    Lately, we've had one GTG per month...I like that trend. :)  Like Sue said, the next one is May 15 at Great Lakes Crossing...I can't wait to see my girls again!!  (And celebrate Sue, Teshia, Carolyn, Jody, and my birthdays!!)
