AW: I'm so proud of myself

I feel like I have FINALLY figured out the kind of food I should be eating to meet my goals! My meal plan for today is SPOT on, and I'm so excited about that! It's the little things that count, right?

And my work outs have been really great. Any reservations I had about working with a (male) personal trainer are gone- it's been fantastic.

And the best part? The scale is going DOWN. And once I amp up my cardio, that should continue :)

I don't mean to brag or be boring, but this is just an update on this and I'm really excited about it!

Congrats, Bren!  Keep us informed.  When others are successful, I feel more motivated myself.

What types of exercises does your trainer have you doing?

Yay! That's awesome! Wanna figure it out for me now? : )

Did you join our weight loss challenge?

I have been doing better than usual lately, but still had a few slip up days with all the T-day food.

I just do weight training with him, and he likes a variety so we do all sorts.

The gym has a fantastic selection of machines, and we use those along with free weights and even resistance training too.

He had me doing chin ups at one point (he was spotting, and helping lift me up at the knees) and I was amazed at how it stretched out the muscles in my sides. FANTASTIC. I've never had such great work outs as I do with him- and I only go twice a week for half hour sessions.

Do you have a post for the weight loss challenge? It would be fun, BUT I have no idea what I weight right now haha. I don't know what my starting weight was, and my trainer is tracking for me- all I know is I'm done a few pounds overall and I've been going down consistently :)

I slipped up this weekend but not for T-day; I was REALLY craving pizza. So worth it.

The challenge started on Monday and this is the website we're using to keep track of our progress for the next 8 weeks.
    http://www.thintopia.com/users/login

We're going to do weigh ins on Monday and the winners get a special badge and an air high-five, lol. It shows your weight loss in percentage rather than straight-up pounds too, for privacy.

The challenge name is: NEY Get Fit Competition
    and the password is: loveyourself

Okay, so I joined the competition BUT I'm really only guessing what my starting weight is since I'm not tracking haha. It's where I THINK I'm at, but I should be able to do the weigh ins since my PT tells me whether I've gone up or down and by how much :)

Also, this is perfect timing because 8 weeks is right around the time I finish up the 3 months with my PT- then I need to decide whether to do more or not!
