Does anyone have any recommendations for a photographer who produces really quality photojournalistic work? My budget is around $3,500 for two photographers for 9-10 hours of photography. The wedding will be downtown in Chicago. Thanks in advance!

We loved our photographers, Gilbert and Nessli Reyes of GReyes Photography! Their packages start at $2000 for all-day photography with two shooters. They are both really great to work with and super talented. Every time he posts new photos from a wedding, it makes me want to get married again!

I absolutely love my photographer. It is a husband and wife. They are located in Madison WI, but Chicago is part of their coverage area. There is no time limit on the day and they are much less then your budget.

Here is a link to their website... check out their blog. I also did some engagement pictures which you can see and they were in Downtown Chicago. I am getting married in the West Loop in December of this year and I am so happy to have them working my wedding.

We are using Greyes Photography based on your recommendation. I love that they have their portfolio on their webpage, and he emails you back INSTANTLY whenever you contact him.
Their prices have gone up a lot since your wedding, but we signed with him in the nick of time He was willing to honor the lower price quote he gave us months earlier. Im super excited about Greyes, I think our photos are going to be amazing!

Tammy Leathem from Leathem photography is right in your budget. I used her and she is amazing and even did our engagement shoot for free. We had 2 photogrpahers all day with no limit on pictures take or number of hours. We got a picture preview 3 days after our wedding!

This is a relatively new duo. Their prices are moreso a reflection of their "newness" to the wedding market, so do not be misled by their affordability. They did a fantastic job at my son's wedding this past July. They are a remarkable couple, who seem to have a knack for "getting" each couple and their nuances.

I would highly recommend them.

I'm so glad you decided to go with them! I seriously loved working with them and was so happy with our photos! They are the nicest people, so I'm happy to see their business growing. I look forward to seeing him post your photos when the time comes!

We are using Fred Fox which has tons of positive reviews and have been around forever...They were extremely affordable and were quite accomodating so far

My rec is Janet Johnston ... We take our engagement pics tomorrow, but she did my friends wedding last year and she was the first vendor I booked when we got engaged. Shea out of Aurora, but does travel. Good luck!!!
