I love it too.  Now that KC's bigger they're not quite as snuggly with each other, but they always sleep next to each other.  And KC copies whatever position Jake is in.  If he spreads out so does she, if he curls up so does she.  It's weird.

  • The dog that my grandparents used to have was weird and loved blueberries.

That is so so so cute. I want Tory to have a snuggle buddy that is nonhuman eventually.

  • What up playas. I haven't read anything. What are we talking about?
  • PETS, Birdie. :P

  • OH PETS! I bet the KPS author would love this
  • You can all see Ozzie's cuteness with Santa in my sig. I'm afraid as the years go on, his expression goes from curious, to care free, to worried.
  • Haha i know!! I love Ozzie with Santa. But mainly I just love Ozzie's cute face.

  • He was all happy and relaxed until he got on Santa's lap! Then when I walked away to be behind the camera he was all "uhhhhhhhhh i dont' know what going on guyths..... ::worried face::"
  • hahah that is totally the look on his face there too, so cute :) Was it a Santa that was special for dogs?

  • Oh man... I just looked it up and Petsmart has santa photos this saturday and sunday afternoon. I am so tempted...

  • You should do it musu!  I'm sure the pictures will be adorable!

  • I WANT to crash your wedding, but I was forced into working that weekend because my job is an asshole.

Everything the light touches is my kingdom.
  • Yeah it was the Humane Society, so Santa knew his way around cats and dogs. We went to a local pet store chain that partners with the HS and has adoption annexes in all of their stores. We got Oz from one of these stores.

Petsmart also does Santa photos and supposedly donates $5 of every photo or package to "local adoption partners". We were there Saturday, but I wanted to wait until Sunday when I knew we could do it directly through the humane society.
  • Huh I should check out the humane society too then..

    J, I don't like your job!

  • MuSu, you should check it out. I know Petsmart partners with the Humane Society in my hometown, but the HS in Louisville is already officially partnered with this other store so I'm not entirely sure where our Petsmart donates to.
  • Yeah I know the HS in my hometown does pictures at their main campus, but like I said they're also partnered with Petsmart, so they might do it at different locations in different places. They used to do it at the mall in my hometown, but they built a new facility a few years ago so they just do it there now.
  • Hmm I don't see any events on the MN humane society website. Darn. However I see lots of adoptable dogs that I want to take home with me. I should know better than to browse. :(

  • If I could have anything for Christmas it would be a huge plot of land to just start my puppy shelter now. Except I probably would just love them all forever and not adopt them out. So really I just want to be an old dog lady and not an old cat lady.

  • Pets and Christmas trees are always an interesting experiment, haha. Tory was so curious last year but after she learned that the tree was NOT her friend, she has stayed away.
    image
  • haha smart cat. :) I'm out for the night ladies. Good night!

  • MuSu, that's my problem with my fictional doggie rescue.

And I grew up not putting ornaments on the bottom third of our tree because our lovely beagle, who actually looked a lot like Ozzie, liked to eat ornaments. I have more than one Christmas memory of taking her to the emergency vet with a hook in her gums. It was quite traumatizing as a child.
