Yet another 'second thoughts on the dress' post.

Aargh! I love the dress. At least I think I do. 3 months to go and I get second thoughts... bloody brilliant timing on my part. I've started to wonder if I should have gone for something with color as I originally planned as opposed to off-white which is what I chose in the end. It doesn't have a corset back, which marks the waist and looks great and I wanted it. I can't add a corset back due to the design, have to go with a zip. 

Thoughts please?

    I think you can tell just by looking at this board that this isn't uncommon. But if you loved your dress when you bought it you will love it on your wedding and you will look amazing! Just try not to worry about it and think about all the positive things you love about your dress. A lot of girls end up getting something different then they thought they would.

    I had doubts about my dress a few months after buying it.  So I decided to go back and try on the sample again.... I loved it just as much as the first time I tried it on.  I think when you go so long with out seeing it, you start to remember it differently, and think about what you'd look like if you wore something else.  But all my doubts went away when I had it on.  Just remember how you felt when you had it on, and t rust yourself! you picked it for a reason!

    Great advice, nothing to add, other than I totally know what you;re going through. I was having buyers remorse and starting looking around at other dresses. But nothing compared to what i choose, so just hang in there and trust your gut. Laughing

    Thanks guys. Great advice and it makes a lot of sense. I tried it on in January and bought it in March, I barely remember what it looks like on me since the boutique wouldn't allow pictures.

     I have seen quite a lot of posts like this and every time I think 'aww shame, that must suck'. Well whaddaknow.

    now that you paid for it, go back to the place you purchased it, try it on and take a picture of it.  That's what I did and I occasionally look at the  pic like when I was deciding on necklace and earings.. you paid and they should let you take a pic.

    That was the one everyone likes the best in the other post! I can't tell you how awesome it is, you are going to look so fabulous. I have had to make myself stop looking at other dresses as much as I am tempted and I won't let myself linger on the what could be's. I looked at the one pic in your profile I think it looks like you. Better provide tissue, I sense lots of tears will be flowing...

    Aww Shelly, that's lovely. Thank you :) I just haven't seen it since January and I'm getting a bit paranoid. I think I love it, but I am going to miss the awesome waist that you get with a corset back and I don't think it can be altered. I saw your question about the veil, and you dress looks great on you btw.

    I agree with shelly, that dress is AMAZING.  The red one is so "everyone else is doing it."  Stick with the dress you chose!  You can always get a corset for underneath or something  :)
