I'm getting married on October 9th and we have just started planning/etc. I am from North Carolina so we are getting married there and will have the wedding and reception there as well. However, my fiancee and I would like to have an informal reception here in Boston to throw for our friends and the people we work with so they don't have to travel and spend a lot to come to North Carolina.
We were thinking about something really informal like renting a bar or restaurant and having food and possibly an open bar but don't want to spend a million dollars either. Does anyone have any suggestions about venues?
