    I'll go first...

I'm not a drinking/party girl so my MOH and bridesmaid are planning a lingerie party. (since I'll be needing some!!) It will just be a small group of close friends and we'll probably have fondue and play games and hang ot for the evening. I'm looking forward to it!!

I did not have a bachelorette party.  In fact, I've been in 9 weddings and never been to a bachelorette party.  So I guess my friends/family are not the bachelorette party type.

My DH,on the other hand, tried to plan a trip with friends and cousins to a Pittsburgh Pirates game.  Nobody was responding so he and his BM went to a NC State football game together and spent the weekend in NC.  His friends also took him out to a baseball game as kind of a bachelor party.

I'd like one!  It depends on what my sister, my MOH, will throw.  It will probably be really tame.  But I don't know when we'll do it.  My BM's all live in different cities on the West Coast or abroad, and I live on the East Coast!

My MOH asked me what I was comfortable with.  I told her no alcohol, no strippers, no dancing.  From the other questions she and my bridesmaids have been asking, I think it will probably be a lingerie party and then bowling, putt-putt, or something in nice dresses.  I'm the first in the group to get married, so there's no worry about being too similar to someone elses, and no one really knows what to expect, so it's really all up to them.

Very fun. : ) My BMs threw me one.

We got all dressed up and went downtown for dinner. Then we came back to a friend's house and decorated cookies shaped like underwear, high heels, lips, etc, and then I opened lots and lots of lingerie.

My fiance is going to Vegas for a few days next weekend with his buddies for his bach party.

I love to party but mine will be a little more low key.  I don't know what they girls have planned (two of them are underaged).

My sister/MOH is planning it. Idk what she'll do but I know it'll be fine. I also refuse to have strippers, drinking and dancers. She already knows me so she didn't even need to ask that question. The lingerie party sounds great. I would like something like a spa day too. We'lll see what happens.

My sister planned a perfect party for me.

We went to a Rockies game.  It was perfect, because most of my friends like baseball, or at least hanging out with their girlfriends at any event.  Those who wanted to drink could, but the others didn't feel left out.  My friends decked me out in boas and a tiara and bought me three beers--which was enough for me!

It was a great time, and it was so good to have one last hurrah with the girls before married life got crazy and we were torn apart to our separate towns again.

I just threw a brunch for my BMs/moms/other women involved in the wedding Friday before the wedding - I paid for brunch.

I had a lingerie shower about a month before the wedding that MOH threw me - it was a lot of fun :)

We had a joint bachelor/bachelorette party bus that took us to Mohegan Sun for the evening. Once we got there, I split from DH and the other guys and took off with the girls. We had a great night dancing and just being girls. DH had fun with his guys, and then we all met back on the bus to go home. Honestly everyone's favorite part was being co-ed on the bus, the guys make it so much more lively and silly. It was nice not to have to worry about strippers, etc.. and know that DH was safe and with good guys. He's not the strip club type guy anyway, and if he was I wouldn't have married him. I honestly think a naked woman grinding in a man's lap is crossing a huge line when you're in a loving committed relationship and I will always toot that horn when the subject comes up. It's just completely inappropriate and I can't believe so many guys think that they're entittled to a night of that debauchery because they're getting married.

We have decided to do a bachelor and bachelorette party together. We love to do country line dancing so we invited all of our friends to come out to our favorite country line dancing place and dance with us. The MOH and Best Man was very upset with us about this but this is what we wanted. The Best Man is a little bit of a wild child and wanted to do a strip club bachelor party which was completely out of the question for my FI. So this is our happy medium.

I think mine will be a very tame party- which is fine by me. None of us would even consider strippers or dancing. I figure it will be more along the lines of a spa day and dinner at a nice restaurant.

I wouldn't mind having a lingerie shower, but I think with my wedding party it might be a bit awkward- I have my sister, my very conservative best friend, and my fiance's two sisters. I just think it would be a little weird feeling for any of them to give me lingerie. I think it would be a big 'ick' factor for his sisters, especially.

I just went one for my cousin's now-wife, which was a lot of fun. A few girls (who didn't work that day) went to the beach first, and then we surprised her back at my cousin's mom's house. It was really low key, a couple fun games and good food. Then it was also a lingerie shower, so that was fun too.

For my friend getting married in the spring, we're planning on renting out a cottage for a night or two. Turn it into more of a slumber party idea. Most of us don't party at all, so that way we can have a few drinks for anyone who wants them in a really low-key setting, and control how much we have with us.

No strippers or anything like that.

My best friend/ MoH will most likely host/ plan the bachelorette party. If she doesn't I guess I will not have one. Who knows what she has up her sleeve. I will just have to wait and see. I know every time  we go out I can spot one a mile away. Even if they are not dressed similar I can just somehow tell. It is an odd talent to have.

Melting Pot is awesome btw!  I am hoping for a lingerie party, simple classy, girl night with dessert and chatting.  We threw one recently for a former roommate of mine.  We made it small, went out to dinner first and then came back home to have an assortment of classy desserts and wine and then had some fun presents followed by a sleepover like when we were all roommates!

    We're doing something simple.
Mostly I'm letting my sister not do any of it.  i don't trust her.
My Maid of Honor is thinking we'll go downtown and get drinks at a very nice bar.  We're trying to just do something classy but fun.  I'm still hoping there will be a neat band in town for us to go see.  Or karaoke.  That is the other option.

I don't want anything with lingerie.  It actually really weirds me out because then I think that my future mother in law will think of me and her son "doing it" or really anyone else for that matter.  It's a weird thought to me.

I just got my bachelorette party invitation today!! I had no idea what my MOH was planning but I'm soooo excited with what she put together. I also did not want any clubs/strippers as that just isn't my taste. I have a small guest list of 15 ladies and I'm not sure how many will be joining us.

We're meeting at my MOH's house for pictures, champagne, and snacks then heading to dinner. Next, we're going to take a sexy chair dancing class at a local dance studio! I'm really excited for this. I think it'll be super fun and we can feel free to "sex it up" since it'll just be our small group of ladies. Maybe I'll learn some moves to share with my hubby once we tie the knot!

When my friend got married we had a dry bachelorette party because her sister/MOH was pregnant and she was underage...so it made sense. We went out and had a big dinner, then came back to her mom's house where we all got in our pajamas and they had hired a facialist, massage therapist, and manicurist. They had an indoor tiled spa where we did aromatherapy, and we just unwound. It was FABULOUS! I wanted to do that for my bachelorette party until just the other day when I had a fabulous idea...

...I want to go to Disney World Cool I live in south Florida, 2 hours away so why the heck not? My fiance is not a huge Disney fan (though he said we would go sometime...) and I LOVE it. Two of my bridesmaids (MOH included!) have never been, and it would just be SO much fun. So I suggested the idea to her of us getting an inexpensive hotel out of the park, spending the day in Magic Kingdom, coming back to the hotel to change then going to CityWalk  in Universal for a drink or two. None of us are really partiers, but we like a drink every now. My MOH is super siked too, and says she's gonna plan for it a month prior to our wedding. YAY!

My MOH planned mine.  She planned a disney princess party for lots of people, but her and only one of my three brides maids showed up.  So it was a quiet evening of catching up and enjoying eachother's company.  We did blindfolded makeovers and just sat and talked mostly.  It will likely be the last time the three of us will ever be in the same room again (both college friends, my MOH was my roommate and my BM was our next door neighbor), so we just enjoyed the non-crazyness of the night before the wedding.  I kinda wish me and my bridal party were more party animals than we are, but at the same time it was a really nice time to visit with just my two closest friends.
Oh then I got all obsessive bride and realized that I had things I still needed to do and was up way late!

My girls and I are talking about either having a spa day and a slumber party, or going to a fancy restaurant in Hollywood or LA - which is about an hour away from me.

I'm super excited! It's like having a 16th birthday party all over again! haha
