How would you describe the shade of Ivory for David's Bridal T9612?

Unfortunately none of the nearby DB's have T9612 for me to even view in person.  I asked what the difference was between the ivory and white in that style.  One sales associate pointed to a buttery colored ivory dress as the ivory for T9612.  Another sales associate showed me a white but softer, pearlescent dress as ivory.  I'm of Filipino descent so I'd like to avoid a buttery ivory which would wash me out.  At the same time, I've seen some white dresses as blinding white.  For those that have the T9612, how would you describe the shade of ivory?

    I kind of think ivory is ivory. I know that there are endless shades of ivory, but they all look pretty like the same slightly-warmer-than-white color to me.

    I tired this dress one and I would go with white. The ivory is VERY buttery. Not even buttery, it was more brown, It was not the dress for me

    Amanda, would you happen to remember if it was the Ivory/Champagne or the solid Ivory that you tried on?

    Beautiful dress.  I tried it on as well.  I don't remember if it was Ivory or white I tried, but I don't think I would have described it as buttery in color.  It definately wasn't the champagne /Ivory.  The Ivory color of my dress (3243) is actually called Soft White, and I would describe that as more pearlescent.
