Wedding Etiquette Forum

Ya know

It must be difficult to be a mod.  There is just so much stuff all over the board.  I would hate not being able to turn mod-ness off or to have it disappear at random as the case may be.

Re: Ya know

  • I would be worried I would accidentally click the wrong thing.
  • Me too. I had mod powers twice today within a 15 min span. You know, you'd really think they would want to fix that...*Ahem* Knot Annie!

  • I would be a mean mean mod. I seriously considered taking the Boston board mod position and then gave myself a slap of reality for a day when I actually started reading EVERY post there was (like mods are supposed to). It was even the beebee-ness of the posts, since we've all said stupid things. It was the sheer stupidity and severe lack of common sense.

Haha! I know! We're actually not supposed to touch those... so I don't get why they even bothered creating them.

  • What would happen if I deleted Etiquette one day, just cause I could. Would it come back? Would I be banned for life? If it does disappear, I woudl like to say i didnt do it incase someone decides to frame me because of my asking this question. I dont want etiquette to go anywhere, im just curious.
  • I would ban people for being stupid. I would be a great mod.

  • I finally got mod powers accidentally yesterday and was so excited. I realized I could edit any post I wanted! (But don't worry, Dani, I didn't.)

Of course, the problem with being a mod is that apparently you get flamed in lame ways when you speak your mind.

Haha there was a post about that on the mod board.
  • I've gotten them I think 3 or 4 times now, and it never fails to confuse me when it pops up. I was scared to navigate away from the page!
  • I'm glad you wield your powers benevolently, ring_pop
