VENUE HUNTING....OMG!!!

Fist off let me say that i pray that the Lord has blessed your holidays with cheer and joy and last but not least LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE....

To start off my holiday we went out hunting for a venue....smh not only did we get into a arguement over nothing but it was a long day to say the least, anyway the first place was in a shopping plaza and as soon as we pulled up his response was I DONT THINK SO lol....whatever im not gonna argue (IT WASNT MY TOP TWO CHOICES ANYWAY) so the next place was a country club and golf type location....surprised he actually liked the place...which it was my top second choice.. The third location was a hall located next door to a catholic church which my coordinator referred and i couldnt get in so i left (AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FA DAT!! TIME IS MONEY AND MONEY IS TIME!!)... the forth place was ok it was a womens club kinda old style but beautiful once its decorated....he didnt like and neither did i once she tallied up the full price...LOL....so needless to say we found one place we both agreed on (please feel free to look it up and view the pics its called Miami Springs Country Club, you can google it to get the website)...im just waiting now to go to my number one choice place which i wont be able to see until after New Years. (they are called the Fire Tower Miami and you can view this wedding reception that happened there and tell me what you think http://youtu.be/hfQyfyW7QdU )

Re: VENUE HUNTING....OMG!!!

  • Hope your day was blessed yesterday !

Lol at your FI. I guess they do care in some aspects of things when it comes to wedding planning lol

I looked at both locations and The Fire tower..from the video it looks nice but not enough for me to say ooo yea go with that one.

I love the Miami Spings country club. I like the Majestic room then the Dynasty room 2nd.

    I like these tables..

So my vote goes to the Miami Springs CC. Good luck with picking a venue !!

  • Oh the fun of venue hunting, huh?  LOL!

I like MSCC too but the Fire Tower could be interesting.  It doesn't hurt to take a look just in case the website/video didn't do it justice.

    Love is the ultimate superpower.
It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

  • I agree with pp. MSCC would be my choice

  • Tira I'm biased because growing up here I've been to events in both venues. Hands down the Fire Tower is one of my favorites! It's beautiful and the ppl there know what they're doing. Where else did you check? Joseph Leiser ? Coco Plum? Renaissance Ballrooms?

<div>LOL...i wish i couldve experienced them first to really know which i want to go with and yea i checked Joseph Leiser but i didnt like the fact of either flipping the room from ceremony to reception or having the wedding outside in the front of the building ie no designated ceremony area but the guy was really nice there and Coco Plum is sending me info today so ill see what the pricing says and Renaissance Ballrooms im not that fond of so i just didnt bother...hopefully i can get a good price with the guy at The Fire Tower and get the Mr on board with them then that will be my place if not it will be MSCC i just dont like that they dont do food tasting...idk about that. How was the food at the MSCC?</div>
