What band looks best with a 3-stone engagement ring?

My engagement ring is yellow gold with 3 stones, traditional "past, present, and future" since we've been together for 8 years already! Does anyone have pictures of their three stone wedding rings with a wedding band, or has anyone seen one that looks really good? Part of me just wants to go with the tradiational, plain gold band...but I work with my hands a LOT and my engagement ring band is already scuffed up. Thoughts?

    My friend has a ring that sounds just like yours and she has a thin gold band with channel set diamonds.  It looks very nice together.

    I have a 3 stone band. My middle stone is set up much higher than the side 2, so it may be a little different than yours. I got a band with 10 small diamonds (.5 carat total) to go with it.

    I also have a three-stone engagement ring and I got a channel-set band. My e-ring is multicolored, but I think the shape of things should still work.

    Here's a picture before the center stone was set in my e-ring.  We bought the band at the same time to make sure they'd go together.

    Pics in my bio.  Mine is a three stone, with channel set diamonds on either side.  The wedding band has channel set diamonds on it.  One of my friends has only the 3 stones, and I believe they had to custom make a band that fit correctly with hers, since the e-ring itself was custom.

    I have a three stone engagement and I have a wedding band that has five diamonds on it. They are bar set but since the e-ring is prong set, I think prong set looks better.

    However, since my e-ring also has chanel set diamonds going down the sides, I am also looking into channel set bands. I am not happy with the way it looks since the wedding ring is so much less tcw than the e-ring.

    What I am doing is taking the e-ring to Kay or somewhere and just trying on a bunch of different style wedding bands. You just say "OKay I have to think about it and thanks so much for your time" and then go home and find the best price on it.

    I personally don't like women wearing plain gold wedding bands with diamond e-rings but that's just my opinion. GL - I am sure it will be beautiful no matter what!
