    We went a different route and decided on a small rehearsal breakfast at the restaurant where we're having the reception the day before the wedding (660 Restaurant @ Angler's).

    I went to a RD at a hotel that was great. The bride and groom family actually made the dinner and we had it at the meeting room with all the privacy. It is very affordable, but if it is too casual for you, I'm sure that the hotel can accommodate something to your budget. They always do. I would recommend a smaller hotel that doesn’t have weddings. They probably will have more dates available and will be less expensive. Check with the hotel that you blocked rooms.

    I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Brickell Downtown (http://www.hamptoninnmiamibrickell.com/) and they have a meeting room connected to the pool. That could be very nice. However, there is an $18 parking fee. The Hampton Inn Coconut Grove (http://www.hamptoninncoconutgrove.com/) is also a nice smaller hotel close to I-95, what makes easy access to everyone in South Florida. And free parking. If you are closer to Fort Lauderdale, there is another Hampton Inn the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Downtown City Center (http://www.hamptoninnfortlauderdale.com/) that is also a nice choice.
