Probably over-thinking this...listing WP in program?

For people with BMs and GMs, what order are you listing the WP in your ceremony program?

Right now, I have MOH and best man listed separately, then BMs in alphabetical order and GMs in alphabetical order. Should the program list the WP in the order they will be lined up? (I noticed if we have WP line up in alphabetical order, it results in a BM walking with her ex-bf GM, and I know she would prefer to avoid this if possible!)

Am I over-thinking this?!?...

When I did my program, I listed them in the order they would be walking in, that way people would know who they were.

I didn't even really think about it, but it actually ended up being in the order they're standing. I did

MOH

Best Man

Bridesmaids

in order

GMs

in order

I also listed them in the order they were walking so that when they were coming down people would know which one they are.

I have a question on top of your question.....

One of my MOHs told me that the wedding lineup should go by how close you are to the person. For example, mine would go:

MOH #1
MOH #2
then it would be:

My Cousin
FI's Sister
FI's Cousin

Is this true about how the order "should" go??

I did who was standing closest to us while we were at the altar first, and then in order from there.

If you list them in order of them walking in, does this mean your MOH is last? Isn't the MOH the last one to walk in before the bride?

What our wedding planner told us is that people line up tallest to shortest. So that's how we are lining people up to walk down the aisle, then MOH and BM. Luckily it turned out for us that the tallest people are my brother and SIL and the next tallest is FI's brother, so we have both family members listed first then the last couple (husband and wife) who are just friends last, so hopefully no one is offended at the order. But knowing what I know about people, I'm SURE people will be offended at the order lol.
