    I agree with pp. If he's old enough to tell you that he doesn't want to do it, he won't do it. Just ask him.

    10 is old enough to be entrusted w/ getting real rings down the isle (where as too much younger, and ya might wanna put fakies on there.) the day of (wouldn't ask him to keep them till the ceremony, but doing the job shouldn't be a problem. The capability is definitely(sp?) there  Now, wether or not he wants to do that - you might wanna ask.

    I think 10 is an acceptable age.  Our one flower girl will be ten.  It's who we wanted to pick and she really wanted to do it.
