Bridesmaid dresses

So I'm letting my bridesmaids pick a dress, I just have to approve it. They all decided they want to wear the same thing, which is fine by me as long as I like the dress and they are ok with it too. They're going on their 2nd appointment together tomorrow and I'm worried that we might still not have a dress picked by the end of the day tomorrow.

At what point should I start worrying that no dress has been picked? I was thinking I would have the dresses ordered in April. Is that too soon or is it cutting it close? I just don't know how long to give my bridesmaids to decide on a dress before I step in and just pick something for them and tell them to order by X date. I've seen some bridal boutiques say on their website that it can take up to 4 months to get bridesmaid dresses in.

I don't want to seem like a bridezilla but at the same time, I really don't want to stress about being able to get the dress in time and have their alterations done by my wedding. Anyone have any thoughts? When did you have or when are you having your bridesmaids have their dresses decided and ordered?

I think it just depends on the vendor. My place said they just need 3 months to get the dress in and to be safe we should add an extra two months so the girls can take their time getting fitted, so basically May. We did decide on a dress but now the girls are having second thoughts so we're going back to the store to try on more dresses and now I'm wanting to check out a few more stores so we'll see. But ya you still definitely have time

I would stat to get uncomfortable around 6 months out, depending on the designer. I've got two girls in Alfred Angelo, one in Impressions and the last in Da Vinci. The dress shop said the AAs would come in after about 3 months and the Impressions and Da Vinci would be closer to 4-5 months.

My store said the latest was the first week of May. 3 of 4 of the bridesmaids have been in to get fitted and try it on. My MOH hasnt been in yet, and none of them have ordered the dress. I've got about 3 more weeks before I go insane crazy bridezilla on them.

I really think it does depend on the designer. My girls ordered their dresses in December and they're supposed to be here by early May. I think as long as they're ordered by the of April you'd be ok

I am using Bill Levkoff and my store said the end of April the latest. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago with all the details and told them April 30th was the cut off date to go and get measured/order their dresses so they can be ordered. I was also told 4 months, that way the dresses come in around August and we still have time for alterations. Yesterday 4 of my 9 BM went and got measured=)

I told my BMs May 1st is the latest to give them time to come in. 3 out of 4 ordered their dresses. 2 are AA and 1 is Bill Levkoff in dark red.
