Evening thread

Re: Evening thread

  • That sounds horrible, Chirp.  But at least you were still able to enjoy the conference!

IMany people say that ibuprofen makes them nauseous. But I've found that if I'm nauseous and take it, it makes my stomach feel better.  My body is weird.

  • Ugh just got home and I'm really annoyed with FI right now..

he occasionally uses the term "my apartment" when talking to me..even though I've lived here since August. All my money currently goes to paying the wedding so I don't pay any rent. I understand that you lived here before I moved in and that you pay for all our living expenses but this is my address and we are making a "home" together so get over your fucking man-issues already. We both live here. It is ours. You haven't cleaned since August. Shut up and get over it.

  • I always have to take ibuprofen with a glass of milk or a little bit of food.

Nebb - that movie is hilarious! Every time we drive through an unfamiliar city and get a little turned around, BF starts saying, "Big Ben. Parliament." It either cracks me up or makes me want to slug him, depending on my mood.
  • RE: fridge question - they may not have every model in stock, but you should be able to get SOMETHING same day.  Depends on how picky you are about it.

ok thanks guys- I decided to call a few places and ask. I guess they do have some floor models available, and home depot has some lower end models readily available, but looks like we might be without a fridge until early next week. At least we have our deep freezer that was holding most of our frozen goods as the fridge/freezer is pretty warm already.

Same here. I worked in a couple pizza places during college. The worst thing I ever did was shake someone's 2-liter on my way to the delivery. They were super mean to me on the phone, and I was an immature 20-year old. I never saw anyone mess with the pizzas, though.

I believe what they said about it being the urban legend.  I mean, Im sure it has happened before, but its certainly not common practice.

I'm all for getting cremated, but getting put into fireworks - I'm not so sure about that one...

ETA - I want to be sprinkled on a mountain or something.
  • I love fireworks!  That's a fantastic idea.
