Bachelorette Party Ideas w/Under-21 Bridesmaid

Originally, I wanted to suggest to my MOH that for my bachelorette, we go to Atlantic City to my favorite hotel, which has an indoor pool for those who are 21 and up. However, I have since moved up my wedding date and my one bridesmaid will not be 21 until after the wedding. I am trying to think of ideas that would please everyone, be inexpensive, and not discriminate. I KNOW I'm not supposed to plan my own bachelorette, but I want to give my MOH suggestions so she gets an idea of what I'd enjoy. I don't like clubs or bars, and I would rather just have a special night out. I came up with taking a burlesque dance class, but I got shot down my half the BP. So far my best idea is going to the Melting Pot for dinner, which is a fondue restaurant (fondue is a tradition among my friends), but that can get pricey. Anyone else have suggestions?

  • We went to Lucky Cheng's in city with my 18 year old BM. It's a drag show and we had a great time.

  • One of my friends doesn't drink, so for her bachelorette we went to a ceramic studio and painted tiles that were set into trays and given as a gift to the bride.  We brought in wine and cheese, etc. Then we went to dinner at a nice restaurant.  It was fun.

Another bachelorette weekend, we went to a beach house and just hung out.  One of the girls actually arranged for a set of those tiles and a bunch of paint and paintbrushes from the same ceramics studio.  We all painted tiles, and then she returned the paints and brushes, as well as the tiles to be fired.  That time they were made into a mirror.  A great keepsake, and fun for everyone.
  • i'm in the same place you are  bsidebella my MOH is going to be 16 at the time of my wedding so finding things to do may be hard...my mom suggested maybe like a movie night or something of that sort...hope my mom's suggestion helps Smile
