I can read the number on the house across the stree with them, but I'm not sure I will stick this out.  They are giving me a headache.  And they look so weird.

    I wouldn't try to wear a new script all day, if you can get away with it. I do love me a new script, though. The trees have leaves once again! Man, I need to find an eye doc now. I think I am going to bite the bullet and just go to my old work for my doc appts. It'll be a PITA to park, but the ghetto you know is better than the one you don't.

    I agree with PP- don't start out by wearing the new glasses all day. That will definitely give you a headache!! Give the "weird" look time too. I don't ever like the way I look in new glasses right away- kind of takes a while to get used to the look & your eyes need time to adjust to the perscription.
    We'd like a pic cause I'm sure they look great!!Cool

    try opening and closing them a few times, too, if they are new. I had headaches for a week with a pair I got in November, and I finally realized it wasn't the new presciption, it's because they were squeezing my temples.

    Seriously, this whole "glasses with thick sides" trend needs to die.

    I am wearing my new contacts today and am definitely noticing a difference at the computer. LOVE it!

    Very much looking forward to the arrival of my glasses soon.

    What do you mean they "look weird?" You tried them on, didn't you?

    Also, if you really hate the way they look, seriously consider buying a second pair from an online site like zenni or eyefly. I still haven't received my order from zenni yet, but I will report when I do. So far, all I can say is that they don't have freaky fast shipping, but I didn't spring for express, and they never promised regular shipping was fast, so no big whoop. :)
