Have you done any substitute teaching? That's what my mom did for a year before getting hired full time.

    My (not so dear) Jeep,
Please, just make it one more drive up to the dealership, so I can say goodbye to you forever, and hello to my new Nissan Versa!

Dear Mother, Grandmother, FI and and Friends,
Thank you for carting my butt around for the last couple of weeks. I know I normally do a lot of driving during the day, making not having a car next to impossible, but you helped me navigate to and from my 2 job schedule.

    Dear work,
Please let FI leave at 5 today so that he can come drink beers and watch the ASG tonight. Go Rangers!

Ash, I'm ordering from WeddingPaperDivas (ugh, that name just makes me cringe). We had an issue with our samples, so that helped me to procrastinate even more, but I can rush them for not too much more (today) and they'll be here not later than Monday. :) We'll still be in the 6-8 week window once they're sent (thankfully) because we have a late response date. We also sent STDs with all the info on our website, so I'm not too worried about it...but I would like to get it done!

I don't know what it is about details, but I HATE messing with them. I get all obsessive over the little things (e.g. fonts, wording, font size) and then I get flustered and don't want to mess with it (mostly because no one cares, but I do). Haha. I know, I'm cray.

Was it a motorcycle cop that pulled you over? I used to date one in Carrollton, so I avoid their city limits at all costs. As much as I would love for him to pull me over just for kicks, I would hate to go to jail for belittling an officer of the law by commenting that he looks like Dudley Doright or a Canadian Mountie.

Don't fret! I use crock pots ALL the time... they are dummy-proof (hence why I use mine all the time)!
Before wedding planning got crazy we were using it once or twice a week (and we have leftovers, too.
    Me LOVE crock pot.

The crockpot we just got rid of was the crockpot from hell.  That thing, even on it's low setting, would cook chicken breasts from frozen to done in about.... 3 hours.   It ran that hot, so I never EVER left that sucker on when I was gone more than 2-3 hours.  I haven't used this new fancypants one we got from our wedding yet, so then my genius self up and decides to just try it out by leaving it at home all day.  Doh.  I'm sure its fine... it's definitely fine... yeah, it's fine.  Right? lol

I love crockpots too, Carrie.  I making two crockpot dishes this week -- mmm, thank you, SkinnyTaste!

    Dear abwatts,

Are you sure about the insurance thing?  Because I'm fairly certain I had to fill out insurance info when I subbed in Waco.  You might check with some of the districts -- it might be just basic coverage, but I'm sure it's there.  I know subbing is a great way to break into some schools, because if you can get to know some dept. chairs, they will try to snap you up as soon as they can.  What do you teach?

Dear Stacy's Garden Vegetable Medley Pita Chips,
    You are way more delicious than I could have dreamed of and ruining my healthy eating plan.  ;_;

    Dear Professor,
Last I checked none of the districts I looked at had insurance. But I could be wrong. I will definitely scope that out again. But even so, I am worried that if I substitute it wont be steady income at first, and until FH finds something better thats really not an option.

I was invited  to a targeted job-fair for Dallas ISD next weekend, so I am keeping my fingers crossed tight!  I teach EC-6, Math 4-8 and Special Ed EC-12. I would prefer to be in an elementary school, but I would love to teach ANYTHING at this point! Beggars can't be choosers.
